I spoke to Laura today and she was just so lovely! She was very friendly, took time to explain things to me, it almost felt like someone I had known before! I've spoken to several lettings agents over the past 2 weeks as I've been seriously searching for a place to rent, but none has been this nice to me on first contact. Whether I get to rent with Burchell or not, I just want to say Laura is amazing. Thanks

Honestly will never buy through these as I've been put off for life. I genuinely feel because I'm a first time buyer the estate agent felt that they could bully and push me into signing up to things I didn't need. All I wanted was a viewing on a property but was instead given basically life advice I didn't want or need. I had explained I already have a mortgage advisor and a mortgage in principle but was consistently pushed and bullied into signing up for their mortgage services. Came off the phone and instantly blocked their number because I was so upset and fuming at how rude I had been spoken to. Wouldn't buy a house from them now even if they paid me to.

GoogleLaura came to our house to give us a valuation. She was completely knowledgeable on the local market and paid extreme attention to all of our homes features and explained it's marketability. She explained fully the process to us and what they could do for us. I would highly recommend their services.

I started house hunting sometime in June 2020 and was so fortunate to be assigned Kelly at Castle Bromwich branch. From the very beginning she was so supportive, always letting me know when there were houses that met our budget and taste available and what won my heart was her tenacity and determination to find us our perfect home.She was so patient with my mom who was very picky on a budget and was always one call away, even updating me with information others wouldn't have bothered to. Also she always booked me in for viewings at my convenience, not once rescheduling or having excuses for all the times I requested.I have collected the keys to my new home which Kelly saw and knew was the right fit for my family. Every timeline she gave was accurate and she supported us through till the very end, which is today, when we got the keys to our new home!Thank you Kelly! Your effort is much appreciated and I will continually refer as many people as I can to Burchell Edwards due to the exceptional customer service you rendered towards our purchase!

The service provided by Lucy and team at the Mansfield branch has been superb from start to finish. I really have no complaints in the way they have dealt with our sale that spanned the 1st lockdown. Communication has been excellent with all viewings well communicated to me and feedback passed on very quickly. All offers received were confirmed verbally and in writing.Lucy and the team provide a good reliable, friendly service, communication within the branch is excellent, if Lucy was out of the office someone within the team always knew what was happening.Even when Conveyancing direct started failing on us the team worked tirelessly in the background to keep things moving, my review of Conveyancing direct will be posted shortly but in short use Burchell Edwards but not Conveyancing direct.

GoogleMet with Nikki to get a Mortgage and she was excellent. Really personable, well informed and diligent throughout the entire process. She regularly checked up to see how things were going and was always at the other end of the line if I had any questions which was a massive value added for me. GoogleMy eldest son as recently moved into his new house after nearly a year of searching the local area for a property he could comfortably afford. Myself and my son needed to apply for the mortgage and this created several problems but after speaking to several mortgage advisers we spoke to Charlie at Burchell Edwards who explained all our options clearly and thoroughly. Although the property we eventually bought was not through Burchell Edwards we found everyone in the office to be very supportive and helpful. At one point when progress had appeared to have stalled Charlie liaised with our mortgage lender the vendor and our solicitor to resolve a problem that had threatened to stop the sale to us, her hard work and diligence really paid off for us. Myself and Joshua would have no hesitation in recommending Charlie to anyone requiring mortgage advise.

GoogleBurchell Edwards didn't sell our property, although they were the agents for the property we were purchasing, and they also worked side by side with the solicitor's we used. Charlie managed to sort our mortgage, and I think she earned her wages on this one... it wasn't the simplest of mortgage applications. I would use Charlie and the team again should we decide to look at buying another property or moving home. Great professional job and a friendly happy group. Thank you so much.

We were told if we wanted to rent we had to move in within 4 days, we were not allowed to give any notice for the property we are currently in. So we had to take the keys on a monday evening, then couldn't actually see the property until the weekend. The boiler doesn't work, the ceiling in the kitchen is so damp it has fallen through, the kitchen units are damp, the only electrics are the lights and shower, the cooker is unusable. Both Burchell and the landlord have said we don't require a boiler and we don't require electrics to move in, in October. One comment we thought was rather exceptional was "if it was your house you would still have to pay the mortgage, so you still need to pay the rent, even if you can't live there". I've rented for 22 years up and down the country, Burchell Edwards is by far and away the worst experience i have had.

The worst agent possible. DO NOT use this agency.Overpriced compared to all local agents, they fixed their price off of an inflated price (confirmed by other agents and RICS afterward).Took 2 weeks to get 4 viewings, no offers.No further viewings in 3 months despite lowering our price.Most importantly they tie you into 3 month exlusivity contract, compared to 1 month elsewhere.Worst of all 90% of the time i called them, no-one answered, and most of the time voicemail full. If that happens to me the vendor, imagine how difficult it is for potential viewers.

Having taken all my details (enough to clone me) I was told a member of staff was on holiday and I would have to take another hour giving my information again. Then that person left I was passed onto a third member. All 3 of them left the company, my concern is that clearly they could take my information. How in the modern world is this possible? Then to be told by the third person they charged for this service. Incredible.

Someone came over to value our house approx two weeks ago. He told us that he'd get back to us with the full report via email asap. My dad has called them several times to ask where this report is, and he's been fobbed off with excuses every time he's called as to why the guy can't come to the phone. Awful company to deal with. Won't be using them again!!!!

DO NOT USE FOR LETTINGS!!!Absolutely rubbish constant changing of staff. No checks done properly, just constant lies about everything. No support whatsoever I was constantly having to chase them, never answered there phone for the two years the fully managed my property which was always left in a state because checks were not done. I still have letters from utility bills coming to me from last year because the agent didn't bother to pass them on. This was fully managed! Could do a better job on my own especially when all they were interested in was raising the fee I paid. Good riddance to them so glad I'm with a better agent.
