Nikita was absolutely amazing

Nikita was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She really did go above and beyond and nothing was ever to much. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, always got back to us when she said she would. She also is such a lovely girl, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Nikita, she was an absolute delight to deal with. It really made the process stress free knowing I had someone reliable helping me. Would highly recommend Nikita. They have no idea about selling properties everything is guess work incorrect house description no apology just send me what needs amending ? Really isn’t that there job ? If zero stars were possible, this company would deserve it. I trusted Burchell Edwards (Connells Group) with full management of my property. The result? • My tenant moved out early, but they failed to carry out a timely check-out. • They withheld and contradicted information for weeks. • They demanded £135+VAT for an inspection that should have been part of their service. • They repeatedly chased me to release the tenant’s deposit before resolving my complaint. • When I escalated to The Property Ombudsman, Connells’ delays and tactics meant the case wasn’t accepted. Two months of stress, endless emails, and still no accountability but harassments weekly email My advice: do not entrust your property to this company. They take their fees but not their responsibilities.

Avoid them with all costs.As a landlord I can say they are the worst agency. Would never use them again.I gave them 2 flats for rental. Had problems with both of them, both times.They only know how to take off your money but will not take care of your property.One of the flats had all bathroom tiles broken, had to change half of the kitchen that was brand new before giving them the flat.Did not even received the deposit.. They said (there is nothing we can do as we forgot to take dated photos before renting the flat).So.. after puting it together.. I paid more for fixings then I reiceived from rent.. Really bad customer service. Even made a complaint few months ago.. and nobody answered or called me back regarding it.

Honestly the worst agency I have ever…

Honestly the worst agency I have ever dealt with. They never pick up the line. Ever. We made an application and have had to chase daily for updates. I honestly think they are a scam company at this point. Keiran was lovely at first but since they took our deposit have proven to be a nightmare. Saddest thing is all I want to have is an update on whether or not we can progress but the rare time we do get through we are told the landlord is in China and still has not gotten back to them. This was 5 days ago.

Worst estate agent I’ve ever experienced. Tried to persuade us down the auction route and then quoted £3900 for a traditional sale, which was £1100 more than any other estate agent we contacted. Clearly thought they could take advantage of us but thankfully we are not novices and went elsewhere. Would never recommend them.

Use any other letting agents!

As a former tenant of two years, please do not use this letting agency to rent a property!! If I could have given zero stars, trust me, I would have.Absolutely awful customer service from when we first started to look at properties from Adam and Elyse, who we had to deal with in February 2020. Adam who I believe was the lettings manager at the time, was very rude to our heavily pregnant Sister-In-Law who lived in the area and very kindly said she would view the property on our behalf as we had to go back home to Essex. Elyse never even bothered to turned up to said viewing or even inform our SIL.Elyse seemed to know very little information on a property we first went to view and she just wasn't very helpful in general. We were doing a big move from Essex to Derbyshire and weren't able to view the property we did end up with. We were told a facetime with herself would be done or up-to-date pictures sent over, neither happened even after chasing. We were also told the property would be cleaned beforehand, this ended up being the previous tenant and they must have been blind because the bottles of half empty alcohol, uncooked rice, rubbish and MOULD left in cupboards was an absolute joke.Also Olivia Perchard and Alisya Cowley who we have had the unfortunate pleasure of having to speak to during our time of trying to move from the property and searching for a new one these last few months, has been an experience I don't recommend. From having a home check done by Alisya and saying everything is absolutely fine (I have an email to confirm this), speaking to Olivia as new viewings of the property had to be held and once again having to inform Burchell Edwards that we have a severe case of mould throughout the whole property and being told they'd report this again and to just clean as much as possible before anyone new viewed the property (basically just hide the problem instead of resolving it). We had been reporting everything through their online portal for the last two years, had at least six engineers out that all told us similar repairs needed to be done and never saw any of them again. Now I know it's down to the landlord to accept repairs, but for Olivia to act like that's the first they had ever heard of it when we were due to hand the keys back in less than a month was madness.We also had a leaky immersion heater, no heating and a fence panel down for the last two, almost three weeks we were living in the property. We reported that the immersion heater was leaking on 17/02/22, that a fence panel was down (due to storm Eunice) on 18/02/22 and that we had no heating on 21/02/22. No engineers were sent out before we handed the keys back to the letting agents on 05/03/22. The only contact we had was via text to say that someone would be in touch and we never heard anything again.Olivia and Alisya were just the most incompetent letting agents I have ever spoken to or communicated with via email, especially when it came to trying to view properties with Burchell Edwards or just to find out whether a property took pets. The only time they're hot on your tail to speak to you is when it concerned them and they needed you for something, calling my other half twice a day every day for five days, even though he works full-time and not able to use his phone whilst at work. But not bothering to contact myself when they knew I would be available to speak to.All in all, renting with Burchell Edwards has been a shambles from start to finish and I would highly recommend you steer clear, as they all seem to be very young, severely under trained, unprofessional and lacking any sort of customer service skills.I know I won't ever get a response from Burchell Edwards as they won't care about what one tenant has to say about them. I'm putting this on here in the hopes that anyone thinking about potentially renting from them will read this and use somewhere else instead.

Stay away from Burchell Edwards and Ashley Adams!! Also avoid the Nightingale Quarters in Derby to rent, you will be highly disappointed and miss sold a dream. The company were quick to declining us requesting to move our end of tenancy date by a day as we no longer needed the extra day that we originally requested (we gave 3 weeks notice) as this had ‘now all been agreed with third parties and cannot be amended’ but constantly called me and partner the week leading up to our end date, asking if we needed to extend our tenancy for any reason - anything to get extra money from you. They will also send you an unfair end of tenancy report claiming damages that were already in the property when you moved in. Absolute shambles of a company!!
