After having inspected a property for one of their purchasers I advised the client to revise their offer in light of the surveyors report and my own observations. The agent was insistent that the purchaser was unable to withdraw from the sale at such a late stage. despite not having exchanged contracts. This advice was obviously not correct as I explained to my clients. Honesty in any business is paramount and I Nothing more than a jumped up car sales man.

GoogleI cannot recommend Bridges, and in particular, Ben Granville, highly enough. After finding a buyer for our home, everything was expertly handled and communicated - from the initial viewings, offer negotiations and then right through to a rather messy exchange (which was due to problems elsewhere in the chain). He was always available on the phone and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the process stayed on track and that we were always aware of developments. Great job - thank you.

GoogleBen at Bridges was great throughout the process of buying a house. He is incredibly conscientious and is literally always at the other end of the phone should you need help with anything. Everyone at Bridges were incredibly responsive and helpful, as well as friendly. They definitely made the stressful (but ultimately great of course) process of buying a house infinitely more seamless and easy and they were really helpful when problems arose. GoogleAfter a rough start to our house buying journey, and having built a healthy scepticism for estate agents, Cameron flipped the tables. He was honest, personable and had obviously done his homework on the property he was selling. During the sales process, Bridges didn’t stop impressing. Ben actively project managed everything to get us in to the house in break speed time (just under 7 weeks!). Communication was excellent and he was proactive in chasing all parties to make sure deadlines were met. I’m now writing this review, having spent the first night in our new house. 5 stars for both Ben and Cameron are very well deserved. If you want the best chance of a speedy and smooth buying experience- these are your guys.

Terrible customer service. This company is so inflated and consumed by its wide reach in Hampshire it has no care for its customer base. It can't even keep across it. No Call backs or confirmation emails sent for viewings. Nothing in my junk folder so emails clearly aren't being sent! Several times I arranged viewings on properties to be confirmed by email and then you hear nothing... Call up asking about my booking, no record at all of my interest in said property?!!On the off chance you actually do get confirmation to see a property, that's never really confirmation. 3 times I have been stood up going to the property at the arranged time and no agent turns up... ??? Call the office: - 'oh I'm sorry sir the house is now under offer.'A phone call, an email, a pigeon with a note, anything would have been nice to let me know so I don't waste my day turning up for nothing! Fuming isn't the word I'm sick and tired of being messed around by this incompetent excuse for an estate agent. Be warned!!

Any company that continues to do business with abusive landlords is a red flag. We were harassed and bullied, and Bridges did nothing to assist as the middle man. The fact they still do business with this particular landlord is disappointing, and we worry for the new tenants in the house that may experience the same horrible treatment. I hope in future Bridges reconsider who they partner with and how this can impact their reputation.

GoogleBridges all the way. From start to finish they were professional and kind. The sale was through a bereavement and they acknowledged that throughout the process. They were helpful, knowledgeable and kept me updated. I particularly loved the calls from Ben as his cheerfulness was contagious and brought light to some dull winter days. Thank you team. She actively listened attentively to my needs, was friendly and communicative and thoughtful in the properties she recommended to me - rather than just sending over a long list of properties in my budget, Hayley really understood what I was looking for and sent close property fits. Three e-mails sent to Saskia Blaber over a course of 3 weeks to make enquiries and 3 emails totally ignored and unanswered and this after their Head of sales Martin Coombs attempting to contact us to discuss the very poor service we have had from Bridges of Hook and Basingstoke. They really do not care about offering any sort of customer service at all unless they are using forceful underhanded sales tactics to get you to have a product from them, then you can't stop them from calling you unless you block their numbers.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
