I feel deceived and scammed by Oyster Properties, they rented our apartment in N7, they did whatever they wanted without consulting me and without respecting my decisions, they promised if I accepted full management that included rent deposit, in the end they deposited it in any company deducting from my first months rent without asking me...
When the clients saw the property they asked me if I agreed and that they were in a hurry to move in.
change demanding that I remove the advertisement from other agencies,I did straight away ordered the advertisements in other agencies to be removed..
to my surprise a couple of days later they agent informed me that the tenants no longer come in immediately as promised and yes 4 weeks later, they apologize and as compensation they promise me the free inventory, (I lost 4 weeks of rent).
Tenants was a couple with 2 small children, I left 2 sets of keys in the house as extipulates by law.
4 days after the tenants entered my property they sent me the receipt for the expenses.
they charge me
£460 rental deposit ??
£180 inventory ??
£15 copy of a set of keys ??
all without telling me, or hearing my consent and without me being informed, I ask for explanations and they say is on vacation and when he returns he will look at the case..
(Conclusion I have tenants in my property,I don't know when I am going to collect my rent , it is abusive and outrageous

GoogleDon't trust anyone there with your time. They will pretty much leave you homeless and not answer your calls after taking your holding deposit. To clarify, they won't take your money as thats illegal but Oyster has no issues leaving you stranded and sweating while you have no place to stay.
Delays happen but they will leave you in the dark about this for a good number of days while you call desperately everyday. I have never seen such a lack of care let alone professionalism. Let me be your cautionary tale.
Dealing with these guys will make you stomach hurt. Treat yourself kindly and avoid them.
Updated the review post move in. Communication slightly improved towards the end but the overall experience was still terrible and anxiety inducing. Will update again in a few months after seeing how tenants are treated.

Incredible service all round when I was selling my flat. Extremely professional and friendly, responsive and honest. Kept me informed throughout the whole process and assured me whenever I started getting a bit nervous. She worked with me to deal with awful managing agents and issues arising, and dealt with all parties so well. Their ASAP conveyancing sales progressors who they partner with were also amazing and everyone helped me seamlessly through a few hiccoughs with my onward purchase chain as well as my sale which I appreciate massively as this process is so stressful. FacebookI have rented a detached house from Oyster , which they didn’t do a proper inventory check out. There are many repairing needed and some even safety/ fire hazards. The agent - Kumar is not responsive and his manager Sajur ignore our complaint. It has been a month but no one follows up with all the repairs needed. Terrible agency! If all landlords would need to reconsider to let this agency to manage your properties, as they used tissue paper to stuff the hole on the wall and let the mould grows without action.
