Good experience with Holden Copley selling/buying new home. Especially impressed with the progression team who worked tirelessly to ensure our sale/purchase went through without a hitch. Special shout-out to Sheryl, who really went that extra mile in chasing things up and keeping us in the loop.

I'll be honest, initially sold the dream. Lady who done initial photos etc was great. I don't think they thought much about the 'lead' photo of the property and had to ask more than once to change this. Overall yes we've not managed to sell but the communication has been not great. Not only that since we expressed a bit of dissatisfaction the service got worse. Yes other sellers pull out but in my view HC encouraged them to bid on another property. Promises made to provide viewing insights etc never materialised. Even had a viewing last week and not heard a word from them since. I take it thier focus is on others. Maybe ones where people are buying and selling through them, where we explained we'd be looking at a new build again since then things dropped off.

Google100% recommendation from us. Professional service from start to finish. We moved from Arnold to Hucknall in Nov 2019 and used Holdens then. Unfortunately Hucknall didn’t work out so we are moving back to Arnold today. From start to finding, as ever, brilliant service- last time we sold house in just under 2 weeks. This time it took 2 days!!! Particulars, photos, 3D - all amazing. Would never use anyone else (especially after dealing with a not so great agent to buy our next house). Thanks Holdens and especially Cheryl for your calmness, professionalism and for keeping me sane!!! You’re the Best!!!

GoogleWe recently purchased a property through Holden Copley and have to say that they were good with comms. From the point of booking veiwings all the way to the completion, they kept us updated. All the staff members we have dealt with so far are very friendly and helpful, and I'd like to give a special mention to Melissa Denton. GoogleHave been trying to purchase a house for a while. Have made multiple offers on houses and told it was the highest offer, yet they have continually dragged out responses and effectively left me waiting for multiple weeks at a time for an answer on whether the offer is accepted or not. Excuses have been that the vendors want to give 'everyone' a chance but that seems to be something to do with greed rather than that. If I am offering the full price on something, why is it then going to final offers? There has been consistent excuses and more consideration for the vendors than me as a buyer, leaving me in the lurch and causing much stress. Conversely, made an offer on a property with a different estate agents yesterday and it was accepted within 1 hour and the process has already begun. It seems that Holden Copley is just encouraging vendors to seek more than asking price, presumably for their own benefit. I will say they are good at getting back to you when you contact them. However I have been waiting for feedback on a property for a week and have yet to hear anything.
Hi Bex, thank you for your response and we are sorry that you feel that you have had a bad experience with HoldenCopley. Sometimes properties achieve there asking price, sometimes under and on other occasions and especially at the moment they can achieve above the asking price. I appreciate offering the marketing price would suggest this should be agreed but the owner of the property makes this decision depending on the market demand. You make an assumption about us encouraging owners to seek more than the asking price for our own gain however I can assure you that this is not the case and I’m more than happy to explain this further to you if you wish. The property market has a high demand at the moment and this can lead to frustration which I completely understand. I’m sorry you are not successfully buying a property with my company and I wish you all the best with your purchase and new home. GoogleBoth our sale and onward purchase were with Holden Copley. Throughout the process everything was impressive. Tom's valuation was more generous than another firm's but the marketing for our sale was spot on helping us sell immediately at asking price and helping secure our dream home. Everyone we dealt with were professional and super responsive and helped keep things moving forward. Particular thanks to Eleanor in the progression team who kept our 5 house chain together and progressing despite difficult circumstances and helped us get moved in less than 3 months even amongst a second lockdown. Fantastic value too! Thoroughly recommend!!

GoogleMy wife and I used Holden Copley to sell our home. They were also the vendor for the one we were buying. The entire team work really hard, to a high standard and are excellent. Communication couldn't be better, from keeping us informed, to chasing viewers for feedback or dealing with solicitors. I'd recommend them to anyone.

GoogleHolden Copley are absolutely brilliant at what they do. From start to finish they have been professional, approachable and helpful in their interactions. They respond within a few hours to any queries and even with Covid restrictions in place, they have adapted and ensured the delivery of their service has not been impacted or reduced. Jordan was our surveyor and was very aware and accommodating with ensuring we were safe as a shielding household. Lauren was our photographer and she was lovely and friendly and ensured we were safe too. I now know why most of the For Sale/ Sold boards in the local area belong to Holden Copley- they are competent and they employ the best staff and their reputation is outstanding. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone selling/purchasing a house . I would also like to specifically mention Lianna who has been unbelievably brilliant since the start. She is an absolute credit to the company and her knowledge and professionalism is beyond compare. Give her a raise/promotion Mr Holden and Mr Copley!
