My experience with AdHoc Properties

Trina was the one helping me, and from the first day that i interacted with her, she was lovely, whatever she promises you, you get, with smile.I will recommend that before you let out the units, you check them thoroughly to ensure they are ready to be let. The toilet of the room i occupied was disgustingly filthy, i am yet to tell Trina about it, as well as the bathroom nearer to my room, but other than that the service was good. Thank you

Absolutely dreadful! They have zero customer service, you call and leave a message and they don’t return the call. When you eventually get through to talk to someone they show you a property, then waste your time to tell you it’s no longer available whilst you’re standing in the property! The worst people to deal with are Dean who acts like he’s allergic to picking up a call and Andrew who makes promises he can’t keep! Andrew, just keep quiet no one asked for false promises! I ended up renting from someone else. Wouldn’t recommend these people to someone to an enemy if I had one, they’re THAT BAD! AVOID! In response to the Ad Hoc response: My experience was from June - September 2022…THIS IS HOW BAD YOUR SERVICE IS! It shouldn’t have taken this long to communicate! As I had a family member ill from Aug 2022 until their passing writing my review at the time wasn’t my priority! Plus there were other members of staff whose names I didn’t get, that were also awful to deal with! It seems to be the attitude of your entire office!

The business

I had to leave a wonderful property in Peterborough. I was working in London paying rent in Peterborough and a room in London. I just couldn't afford both. I applied to Ad Hoc. I was constantly kept in touch. Charlie Mcmonagle was the business he was transparent he didn't raise my hopes he was frank and truthful. I wasn't sure after seeing the property I would get it. It was close to my work but there were other people interested. Charlie gave me first refusal as I applied quickly. I accepted but still had no idea it would work out. Nothing was too much trouble he went over things so I was in no doubt and kept me informed. I liked his directness and no nonsense which enables you to be absolutely clear about what you are doing. It went through and now I can't wait. Thank you non nonsense Charlie magic !

Where do I start!!

Where do I start!!! ....so last week was a very sad week leaving a beautiful dwelling I'd had the pleasure of calling my home for 12 years! Worst experience of moving in my life…

Worst experience of moving in my life so far. We weee told we would be on a rolling contract of 6 months, as the property we are moving into hasn’t been used for a long time. Let alone did we pay a holding fee, we also had to pay another £1,100 which I know is normal, but when we moved in, the keys weren’t organised, the hot water wasn’t working, we had no connection on our phones, no cooker, the white goods were still in the property so my family members had to carry them outside themselves. There was dead flies and spiders everywhere, windows weren’t clean, cobwebs, stains on the walls, doors had marks and things stuck on them, everything except the floors were not clean. The representative left 15 minutes after we were there and that’s because there was lots left to do. We were given false information on the property and the surroundings of it. The company just seem to want there rent money paid and don’t care about evicting their tenants 3-6 months later down the line. We moved in and moved out 9 hours later. Three of us took the day off work to do this house move and it was a waste of time. I will never trust Ad hoc properties again, such a shame!
