Moved out of a property at the end of June. Took 2 months of trying just to get to our property manager to try to get my deposit. Then they took off £70 for an imaginary cleaning charge. 3 months later and still no money returned to us. DON'T trust this company, it's one big corporation that doesn't care at all about their tenants.

Put our property up for letting via Thornley Groves, very good Lettings team. Thomas the Lettings manager, had plenty of time for me and talked me through the landlord's application form. Mellissa Higgs got a tenant for me in a couple of days, even though we are past the busy period.As a first time landlord Mellissa reassured me of the Tenant checking procedure via an agency to check job, wages and if they owe money etc. and time frame.Whilst this is going on I went to check and cleaned the appliances and discovered that the washer dryer was broken. I spend sometime panicking and a quick called to Thornley groves they reminded me that this is fully managed and leave it for them to arrange any repairs. Aimee hobson of the property management team was very quick to answer my call and arrange for their preferred engineer to visit and capped the spend to £150. I can just sit back and relax whilst this is all going on in the back ground.I recalled Aimee's name from the tenant check out report during the purchase of this property a few months back and I was very impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail in the report, shows what kind of good service I would be expecting from Thornley Groves as a prospective landlord.

GoogleWorst estate agents ever, will end up taking a big chunk out of your deposit at the end of your contract. We was told it comes with parking never got the fob to get into the car park. All flat repairs delayed or never happened. Takes them ages to get back by email or call. We went a week without hot water, they never fixed the shower after asking them through out a 8 month tenancy or fixed the fridge! At the end we gave up emailing or calling them. AVOID !!!

I have always received fantastic service from Thornleys since moving over from another agency. They are very professional and communicate well every time. All inspections are done regularly and a detailed report provided. Whenever tenancy is due to end they usually find tenants quick.. very efficient thank you!On this occasion Shosh from the Altrincham branch has gone beyond what was expected in chasing up my rental payment. She kept me well informed through emails every step and I felt really well looked after. Her response in her emails gave the impression nothing was too much trouble to sort out and was very approachable. Thanks again, definately recommend!!
