Charters are very proactive in relation to getting buyers through your door and getting a good price for your property. However once they secured a sale they apeared to wash their hands of the transaction. I bought a new build and had something called "Express Movers" to act as an intermediary between the agents, developers and the mortgage company' Trying to communicate with my buyers was impossible and any request I made for messages to be passed to my buyers was either ignored or met with, and I quote; "As you are aware the New Homes Group do the direct sales chasing" this was from Jo Goodard the Sales Negotiator. It would seem then they were paid £4650 for showing six or seven potential buyers and that was about it. They didn't chase my buyers or facilitate any interaction. They didn't even send an email to confirm the Sale, Thank me for their payment, or even read the meters. If you want to an agent to find you a buyer quickly I can't recommend them highly enough. If you want you poor service, your emails ignored, a sense of apathy and complacency from your your agent so they can sit back and wait for their fees after that point they're very good at that too.
Dear Mr Palmer, after looking through the records here, it would seem that your dissatisfaction should be expressed towards The New Homes Group. As soon as you purhcased a home through them, they made it absolutely clear that we were not allowed to make contact with you. This was relayed to you at the time. The poor communication following this purchase was not at the hands of our sales progression team, we were merely following the guidance given to us by The New Homes Group.

GoogleI can't rate Charters in Alton highly enough and to rate them with five stars just doesn't seem enough! The whole team have been amazing at every stage of my house sale and both Richard and Stephanie have been professional, efficient, reliable, helpful, supportive and friendly throughout. I would recommend Charters to anyone. They are the perfect example, in my opinion, of how it should be done. A huge thank you to the whole team.

We dealt with the assistant lettings manager - Kirstie - who was wonderfully helpful in organising a quick viewing and subsequently the relevant paperwork. We are incredibly happy with the property and service provided by Kirstie (who is a lovely individual to deal with) no question was too arduous for her. The initial customer service over the phone was very polite, friendly and professional. I was told I would recieve a call back on Monday, however on a Sunday, when the office was closed, Sarah contacted me regarding the property and within 1 day, had secured us the property. She had been an incredible help to us and I would highly reccomend her and Charters as a company.

Had a very smooth experience with Charters. I moved from Preston to the South and couldn't view the property myself as it's a very long drive. I was contacted by Ned Lowe who informed me about the availability of an apartment I was already looking to get and also gave me a virtual viewing which was very helpful in making my decision. He was very helpful throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend.

About 2 months ago I applied for a house to rent in Alton. At the same time, I gave my information for the mortgage. They didn't say anything positive or negative. they just ignored it. totally disrespectful. Even the questions I asked about the heating status of the house I went to rent and the barracks could not be answered properly. They just said they didn't know and delayed it. I have experienced that they are completely uninterested and unserious.
