Everyone at Charters was super helpful when me and my partner began our house buying journey as first time buyers. We were clueless and Edward was very friendly and informative, he made me feel at ease! He arranged a mortgage advice meeting with Rob (who has also been fantastic!), which helped us to understand our options, and arranged a wide range of house viewings so that we could get an idea of what we wanted. Upon finding our house, Edward has still been available to answer any questions and give us advice - he always replies quickly and has kept us up to date with the progress of our chain. I would highly recommend Charters - they are real, friendly and knowledgeable estate agents, easy to communicate with and always at the other end of the line to answer any questions.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Beyond brilliant

Edward at the Alton branch couldn't do enough to help with my sale.I can't imagine a more supportive, communicative and friendly agent to have in your corner. My sale was complex, and sadly fell through, but Edward could not have done more to help - speaking with everyone in his network to solve questions both solicitors couldn't find answers to. He fought hard for me, and my buyer, and whilst we lost this one, as soon as I have my lease extension I'll be back for his help. Having worked in the property industry for many years, he's managed to really impress with his attitude and approach to customer service. Everyone at Alton Charters has been really friendly through the whole process - a great team to have by your side in what can often be a stressful and emotional time.

Viewing properties online is no substitute for a good agent

Storme conducted a viewing of a high value property which had recently returned to the market, the chain having collapsed. We were suspicious of the reasons behind the other buyer pulling out and also concerned that the property was slightly out of our search area. Storme did a great job reassuring us and pointing out features of the property that would make it an excellent family home. We made an offer, which was accepted.

Can’t fault the service - so far so good

My daughter and I had been amazed at how efficient and quick from signing up Charters to sell our property and finding us our purchase property. Even before the brochure went ‘live’ we had three viewings within week from signing with another three lined up. Fortunately for us one of the three initial viewings put in and offer and it all went from there. No time for a For Sale board to go up!! Ned in the office was friendly and very helpful. Phil who came round to value our property was very informative and straight talking making it easy to understand without the jargon. Viewing lady (sorry think it was Laura) very friendly. So far I can’t fault the service.
