Recently bought a property through Charters and they have been great, especially Stephen who has pretty much managed the whole purchase for us. He would ring us with regular updates and chase relevant people when things started to slow down, I could easily reach him if I had any questions. Been a great help to us in this process

They answer my queries promptly and are always courteous. I Have no hesitation in contacting them and they are easy to get hold of and look after me well

Claire was at the door for us when we turned up early to the viewing and welcomed us with open arms and let us in to the property and showed us round with no pressure on us to like the property. Brilliant customer care! Sarah Bainbridge was amazing and very dedicated at finding the best home for my partner and me. She went above and beyond to keep us informed of any new properties and personally took us to view them. She took into consideration all our requirements and and understood what we were looking for. I have to say I have always been a little cynical with estate agents but I was surprised what a good service Charter provided. They seem to have acted with integrity and were transparent at all times. Communication was first class as well. The whole purchase was stressful and trying at times but Stephen Henry on the Sales progression was professional and very helpful. We also dealt with Kevin who was also very good.

Not only did he help me identify snagging issues when I took over possession of the property, but he was true to his word when outlining rental possibilities. His finger is clearly on the pulse and he is a credit to the organisation. Likewise, Cheryl has proved to be equally impressive with her execution of pre-tenancy arrangements. I have been most helpfully guided through the entire process in an efficient, prompt, informative and most friendly manner. Cheryl is an exemplary front-line representative for Charters.

GoogleA big thank you to Jack, for really listening to our needs as a buyer and recommending properties new to the market that matched our criteria. After 2 months of searching for properties with other agents, not getting calls returned, or not being updated when new properties came to market, it was so refreshing when on our first phone call to Jack, not only did he arrange to have viewings for all the properties we like back to back on the same day, but he organised a few extra that had just come to market that he knew we would consider. We ended up having a fun day out, viewing 5 properties back to back. What made it more enjoyable is that we didn’t feel as if we were being hard sold. Before we went in to a house, we were given all the relevant info, and then left to explore the house freely with Jack following answering any questions we had, and pointing out bits we missed. At the end of the day we had two properties that we loved, and made a successful offer on one of them the following day. However when calling the office to place the offer, we were then transferred to Edward, who was absolutely brilliant and even took our call and made calls on our behalf just after the office had closed to ensure our offer was accepted just before the weekend. I do hope Jack was able to take the main credit for this sale as it was his efficient and sincere communication and organisation that led to us offering on a house we truly love. Jacks level of service was far beyond what any other agent had previously offered, and it really does make a difference.

GoogleRichard Hawes came to our home and met with my wife and I. We were immediately impressed with Richard, he explained all facets of buying and selling at market, and clarified every subject on questions we asked. Furthermore, we were blown away by how efficiently Richard and his team handled not only the sale of our home, finding us a buyer with all loose ends tied off, but also helped us find a superb property, which ticked all our boxes and promptly had our offer accepted. GoogleMy opinion of the service I received from Charters Alton Office regarding the sale of my house was nothing less than exceptional. My experience with all the staff concerned right from their very first visit to my house through to my successful sale was friendly and professional. I must give a special mention to my Sales Progressor Gwen Van Zyl, who kept me fully informed along every step of the way. I do believe the value of a dedicated Sales Progressor is one of the things that sets an agent like Charters apart from the others.

With the first property falling through and now just having exchanged on the 2nd, it wasn’t the smoothest of transactions. GoogleThe service we have received from Lewis Pearce has been exceptional. From the moment we registered with Charters in Alton, Lewis understood our multi-generational requirement and identified two properties coming to the market which he thought could be adapted to meet our needs, arranging viewings within a few days. Both those viewings and subsequent viewings of the most suitable of those properties were handled in a professional but friendly manner and every question along the way has been dealt with comprehensively and promptly. As a result we have had an offer accepted and we are proceeding towards a purchase of the property to which Lewis introduced us.
