Excellent customer service from Kelly

After some concerns that our hot water and heating wouldn’t be fixed in a timely manner, Kelly Santos helped push it through and within a couple of days we had a new boiler fitted. Kelly was extremely communicative during the process by calling each day to ensure we were happy with everything. So appreciative of Kelly sorting it out so quickly for us.

Toby was great from the offset. Promptly organised an appointment and was very good at going through the process in detail. He managed to book the photographer for us quickly and put together a brochure which looks great. Nicole has been commuting with us to get our listing live at the earliest opportunity therefore we are very pleased. The team are very approachable and have flexible methods of contact. We recently purchased a house and as everyone knows it's a very stressful time especially when entering into tight negotiations. Highly Recommend

Charters made the whole process of house selling straightforward. Phil who valued our house was lovely, his valuation was spot on and he was constantly in contact with us regarding viewings, offers and his POV on how to proceed. When we moved to the sales progression team Stephen was proactive, easy to contact (phone and email) and chased along to achieve our exchange even with some difficult parties. Overall a great experience from Charters and would highly recommend.

We spoke weekly to catch up on how everything was moving along. The service we have received from Lewis Pearce has been exceptional. From the moment we registered with Charters in Alton, Lewis understood our multi-generational requirement and identified two properties coming to the market which he thought could be adapted to meet our needs, arranging viewings within a few days. Both those viewings and subsequent viewings of the most suitable of those properties were handled in a professional but friendly manner and every question along the way has been dealt with comprehensively and promptly. Richard at Charters has gone above and beyond any estate agent. We registered our interest with all estate agents to find a property that matched our expectations. Richard was the only estate agent in Alton to call us regularly with potential properties even though we were not selling our home through them. I cannot recommend Charters and Richard highly enough. Further to my previous review a year ago - I have again dealt with the Team from Charters in Alton and can only praise their professionalism whilst keeping a friendly, non pushy attitude. Edward and Jack who I mainly dealt with, kept me informed at all stages of the sale. The online documents were easy to use. The sale has been very quick, which I will always be grateful for. A big thank you to Jack, for really listening to our needs as a buyer and recommending properties new to the market that matched our criteria. After 2 months of searching for properties with other agents, not getting calls returned, or not being updated when new properties came to market, it was so refreshing when on our first phone call to Jack, not only did he arrange to have viewings for all the properties we like back to back on the same day, but he organised a few extra that had just come to market that he knew we would consider. We ended up having a fun day out, viewing 5 properties back to back. What made it more enjoyable is that we didn’t feel as if we were being hard sold. Before we went in to a house, we were given all the relevant info, and then left to explore the house freely with Jack following answering any questions we had, and pointing out bits we missed. At the end of the day we had two properties that we loved, and made a successful offer on one of them the following day. However when calling the office to place the offer, we were then transferred to Edward, who was absolutely brilliant and even took our call and made calls on our behalf just after the office had closed to ensure our offer was accepted just before the weekend. I do hope Jack was able to take the main credit for this sale as it was his efficient and sincere communication and organisation that led to us offering on a house we truly love. Jacks level of service was far beyond what any other agent had previously offered, and it really does make a difference.

We phoned the Charters Alton to buy our second house. Spoke with Manager Richard, Sarah and other members of the staff; found to be extremely helpful. Met Richard in his office in Alton. He is kind, honest and very efficient person. On top of that he has extensive knowledge of property market. We went to view couple of beautiful houses from Charters, unfortunately they were above our budget. Richard is trying his best to find a suitable house within our budget. We would not hesitate to recommend Richard at Charters for buying or selling your property.

I first met Sarah when she came to value my house. Sarah was extremely professional, engaging and thorough, taking detailed notes on my property spec to provide a property valuation. On instruction I dealt with Jack, Ed and Rich, who were always extremely professional and polite. They were all, a delight to deal with. I was given prompt feedback the next day which was always honest. As the Sale of my property continued, Sarah was always on hand to speak with me honestly and openly about what was happening within the market and how my property fitted within this, I valued this very much. We’ve just sold our house through Charters and couldn’t have made a better choice. Sarah impressed us so much from day one with her experience, confidence, energy and no nonsense approach. They found us a buyer immediately and when it fell though (no fault of the team) they put us front and centre and made sure they got the right people in to see it. Not an easy house to sell, a period place that’s had a big family in it for 10 years and has no parking, so important to find the kind of buyers who are drawn to that. The team are relentlessly cheerful and reassuring and really put everything they have and their whole network into selling. And the way they manage and monitor the chain, communicating with all parties and registering their concerns was particularly impressive. I’ve had lots of experience with estate agents and this lot are faster, sharper and more professional than any others.Selling has been really stressful, and I’m really glad we chose this lot to be on our side. I’m writing this review to let people know that they should definitely choose these guys- you won’t find better.
