I have deleted my past 5 star review, to give a 1 star review. I am livid - never again !!!I have removed my 2 flats from their Prospect. Whether it was a draw in cabinet, or repairs to windows they simply could not cope. What angered my, if that the In***n tenants they sent me, did not respect my furniture causing damages. The situation is made worst by the tenant refusing to pay the expense of the damage. Prospect of course took the side of the tenant, and had no empathy for my pocket.If you want your flat ruined, they will do this, but will expect you to repair everything at your expense.

GoogleNot all the state agents are the same. They all talk the right talk and have overblown IT systems. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what their brand is, there marketing profile or any of that guff. It's about relationship - at which point it becomes about the team members and not the name above the door. Prospect are not the only team in Aldershot that do relationship well, but they were willing to do it for the best price also. For me, the perfect combo. Advice to anyone looking at reviews and considering an estate agent, go and visit the branches, speak to the team, listen to the conversations and see how relatable the people are. If their first reaction is to start recording your details and putting them into a screen, walk away. And remember that it is a highly competitive market. The first offer is not the final one! At this branch speak to Natasha, Dexter or Jordan for an experience of estate agency that is more than you might expect.

It was a great experience dealing with Prospect Estate Agency. I would like to appreciate all the efforts by Kurt Owen. he went above and beyond to deal with my situation where my old tenancy was ending and the new one was delayed by one week. he convinced my old agency for one week extension on my old tenancy.

We dealt with the Prospect Reading office when searching for a property. They were very knowledgeable in everything we asked them. We mainly dealt with Michael and Daniel and couldn’t have asked for more. We didn’t end up buying anywhere but definitely will come back to Prospect when we start looking again.

We rented a property through Prospect (Winnersh) for 2.5yrs and obviously as a tenant you have no say in who manages your property. However I am also a landlady of 3 others properties so could also observe from the other side and felt that for the amount of money our landlord was paying them each month they did very little. We had endless problems with heating and plumbing and were often just told “phone British Gas yourselves”. For the last SIX MONTHS of our tenancy the toilet in our en-suite did not flush properly and the saga trying to get it repaired was an absolute joke. However when you are paying £30k a year in rent I think the least you can expect is a flushing toilet.On our last inspection a member of the sales team also turned up completely un-announced and told me “he was just observing as he was interested in the knowing what the rental team did”. We suspected at the time he was actually valuing the property, so no surprise when we were told a few weeks later that we were having to move out because the landlord was selling. However the fact that this man came into our home un-invited and un-announced and lied to my face shows total lack of honest and integrity.We have now been left the property for two months, we looked after it well and left it better than we found it. We know the final check up inspection was done weeks ago but Prospect are ignoring all our communication in relation to the return of our deposit, we have called and left voicemails, and emailed about it - yet zero response whilst our deposit still sits in their bank account!!!We are now renting through Sears and the improvement in service, response and communication is unbelievable. They are 100% better.Sorry but can’t recommend Prospect at all, lack of communication & service, total lack of integrity from the sales department, and their lack of honesty continues in now withholding the return of our deposit with absolutely no reason or communication.

TrustpilotTenants' Nightmare: Prospect in Reading Fails to Address Long-Standing Issues, Leaving Renters Frustrated and Helpless
Our experience has been very BAD and DISAPPONTING. We are renting a property with Prospect in Reading and it takes ages to resolve our issues, most of which have been outstanding for over 6 months. The landlord is very adamant about not completing basic repairs, as stipulated in the lease and Prospect has not been able to help us anyway. They also give us the same updates every time with no resolutions. It is really frustrating that our concerns are not heard and we have no other options but to live-with-it. Unfortunately there is no break clause in our 2-year lease. Therefore, we are bound to pay the increased rent despite the outstanding issues.

I am so pleased with what help i have received from Anna. I was put into a situation which i was going to be homeless as my flat fell through and was only given little than 48 hours notice. Anna was lovely and was so helpful with showing me around the flat and all the information i needed!
