I actually bought a house from MacKenzie Smith (they didn't sell my house) It proved to be a difficult sale as, although the previous owner had died in November when the house was advertised for sale, Probate did not start until after Easter. This was identified several weeks after an offer had been accepted and questions re the state of probate had been asked.- I really think that on this type of sale it should be the responsibility of the estate agent to make sure that the house is actually available to be sold. This caused real issues but your agent James in Hartley Wintney really supported me through the whole process so he is the reason that you have a 5 star rating. I know that you are not alone in marketing houses that are not available to sale but is really something that should be addressed by all estate agents.I have just edited this review as I notice that it has been posted as being a review by Mr Ken Sheppard - This was my husband who died over 3 years ago - and has never, as far as I am aware, ever had dealings with MacKenzie Smith and certainly did not write this review.
