After using a different agent for 6 months, with only 5 viewings, we decided to use Mackenzie Smith Yateley, lead by Gavin Fouracre. We found him to be very approachable, and enthusiastic. The team , were very proactive infinding potential buyers , with viewings most weeks. During the first few months, we had an offer which we accepted, but these clients had a property to sell. A month after this we had buyers that could proceed straight away.The sale was completed within 5 weeks.I have nothing but praise for the MS team, and would never hesitate to recommend them. Thank you to the team at Yateley!

If only I had gone with Mackenzie Smith from day one

Selling your house needn’t be stressful it would seem, but ONLY if you have the right agent. It’s an experience that many suggest is fraught with endless worry and stress, however I have to disagree. I cannot praise Pedro Barros and Mackenzie Smith Farnborough highly enough for the impeccable level of service I have received from our very first conversations. I was discouraged and seeking professional guidance and support after recently changing from a frustrating local agent, who felt it appropriate for me to supply my own photography to list my property. My expectations have been blown away thanks to the continued assistance of Pedro, in comparison to previous services and that of my buying agents, I don’t believe I would have recently exchanged on my dream property without his help. The regular positive reassurance from Pedro, his continued can do attitude to push my sale through and above all his assistance with my purchase and onward chain when my purchase agents service lacked any kind of support or help has made the process of buying and selling a true pleasure. If only I had gone with Mackenzie Smith from day one. A very BIG thank you!

A happy selling experience thanks to Kris Holmes

Throughout a long and tricky sale Kris at Hook branch was unfailingly helpful and upbeat. He kept me fully informed at all times and continued to push hard for all parties, to bring the matter to a successful conclusion. Kris has certainly earned his commission with this sale and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any property sales or purchases. He was also able to help with recommendation for emergency property maintenance when the original sale fell through. Well worth the fees to get proper attention, no corners cut.

Steve Panther of Mackenzie Smith

I can only leave a review based on Steve Panther's (Farnborough Branch) performance since he was the agent flying the flag for Mackenzie Smith for my purchase, (although I had been into the branch two-three times and all the other staff appeared to be very friendly and welcoming). Our experience was a stress free purchase and we completed in under 8 weeks (from date of first viewing) which is quite remarkable. It was a breath of fresh air meeting Steve who was very direct and honest and took on a real duty of care for both us and the sellers and I know he went at length to ensure all parties were communicating (inc. solicitors, etc). When we come to sell I wouldn't hesitate calling Steve to secure his services.

Mackenzie Smith Farnborough From start to finish the experience was totally unprofessional.The agents never had any information on the house to give to the viewers, nor to the agents themselves not knowing any particulars either.When the house wasn't selling, I received a email three weeks before the end of the contract with them saying that we should lower the house price ( to a more realistic asking price in their opinion ) 10% under the asking price - also under a offer the estate agents themselves had already turned down. The house was kept at original price and sold for slightly lower than the asking price. On the day the house finally sold, I had to call them at 4pm to see if it had all been completed successfully - yet again demonstrating how unprofessional this company really are. I definitely would not recommended this estate agents to anyone selling their house.

Darren who managed both aspects of our business was extremely professional from the initial meeting through to exchange of contracts. In a industry where there is a lot of choice it was refreshing to know that we could trust in Mackenzie Smith to get the best possible outcome for us and that they would give an honest update and opinion along the way. Impressive package and Lettings Consultant.

We spoke to two other agents in Fleet, Hampshire before Mackenzie Smith, both of which appeared reasonably competent. The information and impressions that we took from the initial discussion with Jayne Johnson, Senior Lettings Consultant at Mackenzie Smith were:1) She was extremely impressive for a number of reasons and clearly ready willing and able to do an excellent job.2) The package that Mackenzie Smith were offering to landlords was superior to those offered by the other 2 agents, in at least one very important area.3) Fees charged by all 3 agents were broadly comparable.So Mackenzie Smith was the logical choice to act as letting agent. Since that first interview, we have had a number of contacts with the Senior Lettings Consultant and we have seen her in action on a number of occasions. All indications are that our initial impressions of both her and the package offered by Mackenzie Smith were absolutely correct. At the time of writing it is early in the contract but at this stage we are happy to recommend without reservation.

Utterly Brilliant

Having 'interviewed' six different agents to place our property on the market we chose Mackenzie Smith partly because we bought through them and had a good experience, but also as their valuation was very realistic and the confidence we had in their plan to sell. One or two of the other agents talked the talk and gave very unrealistic valuations in order to tie us in; Mackenzie Smith were confident in their approach and had no desire to trap us into staying with them beyond a sensible period.Marketing began immediately and viewings commenced within days, all conducted by Mackenzie Smith (though I always offered to be in attendance for second viewings) - a number of offers came through and the full asking price was achieved very swiftly through the hard work of Mackenzie Smith.A proposed date for completion was discussed and Mackenzie Smith hasten the solicitors to ensure this happened, I really cannot fault their service. They may not be the cheapest agent in town with regards to the fees charged (though certainly not the most expensive either) but I have no hesitation in saying they are worth every penny for their approach, communication and professionalism.

Really nice people who are very good at what they do.

I have worked with 4 or 5 local Estate Agents over the last 5 years and Mack-Smith have easily been the best, both in terms of being very likeable people which helps when selling, but also being good at the selling, in a very open and honest way. Having looked round many houses whilst buying too, I pretty much sampled every agent in the area, and 9 times out of 10 you get a plastic droid in a suit that just pushes people away with over selling nonsense. Having genuinely liked Pedro from Mack-Smith in person and been impressed by his take on the tricky house we had to sell, he delivered exactly what he said he would and left me confident that people would warm to him like I did. All others at Mack-Smith were similarly likeable (Steve and I think it was Holly who did a couple of viewings for us too) and professional, and if I was to ever move again I would undoubtedly use these guys without second thought.
