After wasting 3 months of our time trying to sell our property through another local agent without securing so much as a single offer, we tasked Mackenzie Smith (Farnborough) with selling our property within 4 weeks so we could secure the onward purchase we wanted.Alex Cox who valued and marketed our home was very straightforward to deal with and was able to build a rapport with us immediately. He understood our situation and agreed a marketing strategy with us to achieve our tight time lines. It’s very clear that Alex and his colleagues understand their market very well, and know how to get the results their clients need.We secured an acceptable offer within 4 weeks of going to market with Mackenzie Smith which enabled us to secure the property we wanted. The marketing was excellent, with exposure on ALL major online platforms, and the photos Alex took were arguably better than the professional photos we had with the other agent. This really made a difference with increasing the number of viewings of our home.Alex and his colleagues were always on the end of the phone when needed, and once we’d accepted an offer were continuously chasing things through up and down the chain to progress to a speedy completion.In short, we couldn’t recommend Mackenzie Smith enough on the basis of what they did for us, in what is currently a very difficult market. We only wish we had gone with them from the outset.

We canvassed 3 agents before choosing Mackenzie Smith, their pitch was by far the most informative and professional apart from the price recommended and their hopes of exceeding it. It fairly quickly became apparent that the price recommended, let alone any increase, was wholly unrealistic (since the other two agents also quoted much the same price, we also believe that this was their belief in the best way to obtain the instruction). With that proviso, which clearly delayed the sale for many months, since we did not get any offers in the aforesaid price range, they could not have been more helpful. The owner was in a home and we are 100 miles away so they needed to attend the property for all viewings and for everything else that needed doing this they did without the slightest murmur or objection and whenever they said they would. In the end their negotiating skills to stop yet a further attempt to "dump" the price were very much appreciated. Throughout what must have been a very long and tedious experience for them, they were always polite, helpful, professional, patient, skilful, and empathetic. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any other vendor.

James Harris helped us bring our house to the market in a professional manner and we were able to accept an offer very quickly even though other houses seemed to be left on the market for quite some time. His knowledge of the business, the local area and his experience with the market was second to none. We have exchanged without any complication too. James continued to be up to date with the progress of our sale and kept both myself and our buyer well informed. Mackenzie Smith are honest and have the integrity that you need when selling your home and although they are not the cheapest agent in a Fleet are worth every penny. We will defiantly be using them again.

Great from start to finish!At the start of deciding to sell my flat I was a bit scared about who to trust and which estate agent to chose as I had never sold before. A cut above the rest. Amazing customer service coupled with thorough knowledge of the local property market. We sold our house through Mackenzie Smith. Their customer care was superb and they were honest and trustworthy throughout the process. Don’t go with an estate agent who overvalues your property to get a listing which they are incentivised on ( larger, national chains), go with one who will actually sell your property and offer sound advice. Justin has years of experience and it showed throughout. We relied on that advice whilst buying as well as the estate agent we bought through seemed inept and couldn’t be trusted.

We previously had our property marketed by another local agent without any real viewings. Within 7 days of marketing our property Kris had two offers on the table. He negotiated the best price and buyer for us. Both Kris and Simon have kept us up to date through the whole process. Negiotiating exchange was particularly tricky as part of the chain involved an overseas seller but this was dealt with efficiently and we were kept in contact throughout.
