When it came to selling my property, I wanted it to be stress free and painless. Especially, as I was letting out the property at the time and viewings were to be agreed with my tenant as well. John Munday and his team at the Ash Vale branch made it as stress free as possible. Even though my solicitors were not the most efficient, John kept his cool and went above and beyond to ensure the house sale did not stall. I would highly recommend using Mackenzie Smith.

John and his team in the Ash Vale office provided an outstanding service from instruction to completion for the sale of our house. John kept us updated on the progress of each stage and he was proactive and would return calls and messages promptly.John went above and beyond our expectations by also assisting with the purchase of our new house by liaising with the vendors solicitors as the vendors estate agents were not very proactive or responsive. I first got in contact with Pedro Barros at Farnborough office when I wanted to view a property. He is very sincere, friendly and polite. I normally find estate agents very pushy and intimidating and most of them refused to put offers on my behalf because I had a private buyer for my property but Pedro was completely different from all the others. He kept me updated on everything that was going on with the purchase of my new property. He listened and understood my situation and never said no when I wanted to go back for viewing this property. In just over 2 weeks time I should move into my new home. I can not thank Pedro enough. He is amazing.

In November I began the daunting search to find a property to buy for my 83 year old father who was downsizing and needed to buy a property nearer to me. One of the properties I selected was being marketed by multiple agents but having had previous experience of both selling and buying through Mackenzie Smith I naturally called them first. It was a great pleasure to discover Darren Penny was still working within the Fleet office and even nicer that he remembered me although the last time I dealt with him was over 10 years ago! Darren was extremely efficient, always getting back to me when promised and always arriving promptly for appointments. In addition to this I felt he demonstrated great respect, patience and kindness in his dealings with my father who needs to go at a slower pace these days. The vendor, herself an elderly lady, had no mobile phone or answer phone which meant arranging viewings took great efforts and patience on Darren s part but he always managed to help us.In addition to these challenges Darren had to liaise with a third party who were acting on behalf of the vendor in her purchase at a new development. This added to the frustration but Darren again ensured that all parties were kept in the loop at all times. Obviously I dealt with other estate agents who were marketing other properties during our search but sadly their professionalism cannot compare with the likes of Darren Penny and his colleagues at Mackenzie Smith. My father moved in on Friday, not bad considering we only made our offer late in November. Well done and thank you to Darren and the team at Mackenzie Smith Fleet.

My former opinion of Estate Agents, admittedly somewhat coloured by sitcoms, was transformed by Mackenzie Smith. Nick Kirby could not have been more willing to help and was absolutely prepared to go the extra mile in getting our house effectively marketed and then through the selling process.He consistently applied himself and was invariably correct in his opinions and courses of action he recommended. He put a lot of effort into communicating with all the stakeholders and it is clear he is widely respected throughout the residential marketplace in the area.

It is always great to hear when a client can see that we genuinely do a lot more than just put your house on the market and introduce a buyer. Nick was absolutely fantastic in helping us to find a perfect place, when he understood our needs be was honest with what was not suitable in the initial place we visited, rapidly followed up with introduction to ones which were better, and accommodating us on revisits and questions. He was equally brilliant at keeping the momentum going on the conveyancing process. Honest, great initiative, easy to get on with, couldn't be faulted.
