I had a great experience with Your Move estate agent. My journey from viewing the property to starting the documentation process was done By Mr Anish who was very patient and helpful as everytime I turn to him with my Query he was there always. Mr Alan who did my completion was too helpful and his friendly nature made me more comfortable to buzz him every single time when I couldn’t understand few things. Overall my experience with them was 10/10.

Do not use your move if you don't want to loose your peace

This review is for Your Move Gillingham in Kent. I am writing this review with so much pain and frustration in my heart. Your Move you have to do something or I will keep writing. We had agreed to move into the property on the 15th of December. They said to us on this day you sign the contract, make payments and get the keys. We made all plans to get the keys and move, booked leave from work, book a van, called friends to help and the day came and we were told works on the property is not complete and we cannot move in. We were told two rooms would be ready on the 18th and we can move in with our kids while works continues. This was a no no for us, we asked for our holding deposit back to get another property and we were not given our deposit back. They caused us a lot of inconvenience we did not want to make a big deal of it just our deposit back and they refused. This is my worst experience ever, I hope with this review I get my deposit back. I just want to move on. I do not trust them and I am no longer comfortable working with them because even before moving into the property they have made life hell for me and my family. What happens when we move in. The an excuse that the 15th was only a provisional move in date but for us it was a definite move in date. They lied to us. The took our money and don't want to give it back not minding the inconvenience they had caused us. We are being made to pay for their lack of professionalism and lies told to us. This is big time fraud. We kept calling to confirm the move in date of 15th and they always said yes 15th it is and now they say it was a provisional move in date.Please Your Move give us our money back.

Unprofessional and really horrible experience

I had a very bad experience I went visit a property and it was advertised by the your move in the Gillingham area and the rep from the Gillingham department didn’t even tell us the whole entire time that the property was a corporate sale as the property was repossessed! And on top they charged me £78 for background check that was no refundable! During whole entire time they never told me that the property was repossession and they knew all along!

I came in looking to purchase my first home in the local area and the team here, particularly Jess, went above and beyond to make sure I knew all of my options, give real and honest insights into the nature and condition of properties, and provide advice and support with the process. The only reason I did not in the end make a purchase with them is because the sellers of my 'dream home' had chosen a different estate agency (though I now wish they'd chosen Your Move!). We had a great experience with Your Move (Dundee branch). Robyn assisted us with our new rental and was extremely friendly and helpful. She was quick to respond to any inquiries we had and kept us updated throughout the entire process. She even checked in on our key exchange day. Terrible Customer Service - Dudley

Rented a property through Your Move, Dudley branch. In my years renting and indeed, experiencing a service, the experience from Your Move Dudley has been one of the worst! They are nothing short of a rent collecting agency. Zero empathy for tenant experience, zero concern when you raise complaints....only interested in collecting rent. The property I rented in Tividale, Oldbury through them was run down and we were told would be repaired prior to move-in date. We paid all the deposit and rent, collected keys only to see that walls have been whitewashed but key parts of the house and garden were in terrible state. Raised complaints, we were pushed to the landlord. Turns out 'landlord' is actually landlords daughter who just wants money. No inventory, no document showing state of the property. If not for my experience and pro-activeness, they would have taken my deposit when I moved out after 1 year. Terrible experience with Your Move Dudley, right up till the day I handed back the keys. If you have another option i.e. agency, for renting or buying, please take it!

I'm really grateful to the team at Your Move on Leith Walk. Julie-Ann, Maija, and Ellie have all worked closely with us on selling our flat nearby. They've been lovely from the moment of stepping into our flat for valuation to today, towards the end of the process. We had a lot of questions throughout, and they were always patient and kindly took the time to explain or reassure. It's clear that within this team there's a lot of experience in selling property, spanning a number of years, and their expertise shines through naturally.
