Raymond H was the very first person I met when I contacted WJ Meade and he's still able to apply that personal touch with all my property queries such that both the landlord and tenant walk away satisfied. That combination of experience, customer care and a good heart is very hard to find in businesses these days. Thanks Raymond and please don't change :-)

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience with WJ Meade was fantastic. It was my first time living alone and a really important move from me, so I was understandably nervous at first. I relaxed as soon as I met Haris, andhave since felt supported at every step of the way. From the initial moving in documentation and deposit process (which I always find a nerve wracking!) to any maintenance queries I've submitted, to the eventual process of moving out, there was always someone on hand to help. No long call wait times, speedy email replies, and really respectful comms. I particularly want to shout out Haris Miah - knowing he was there to help and seemed to genuinely care about my renting experience made me feel secure and happy in my home. I am sad to be moving away - should I return to Bow, I'll be right back on to WJ Meade.

Meades recently handled the sale of our house in Mile End and dealt with Billy and Michael. Friendly, welcoming and warmly professional from the outset nothing ever really felt a problem for them, and they were able to advise and guide us seamlessly through an off market sale with a non-traditional exchange/completion timescale. Communication from them throughout the process has been utterly faultless with quick response times to email queries and a friendly smile if you call unannounced into the office. I actually genuinely enjoyed the Meades experience so a big thank you! Highly recommended.

Flat sale during a time of cladding issues and COVID lockdowns - Michael and Billy worked hard to secure a buyer for our flat in Bow in early 2020 and then managed to keep the transaction ongoing while a low-level cladding issue was resolved. They were responsive and provided useful advice throughout. We would recommend them to others.

Having had my property portfolio Fully managed by WJ Meade for 30years, I highly recommend the Company. Haris, in the Mile End office, always goes beyond his remit, to make sure the right tenants are found, the properties are routinely and thoroughly inspected, and provides a First Class service on all levels. I have also had dealings with the Sales team on occasions, and again, highly recommended.

WJ Meade team provided an excellent service throughout sale of our flat. We were given good advice on how to sell the property and they were highly proactive in finding a buyer. Their service didn't end at that point as they were instrumental to the success of the transaction. Because our solicitors were not helpful, we had to rely on the WJ Meade team, and Michael especially to get updates, communicate with the buyer and get things moving. They were always there to help us and I can defnitely recommend their service.

I have been in contact with WJ Meade over many years, and they have always provided me with a friendly and quality service. Quite a number of my sale/purchases fell through, but they stuck with me. The agents are knowledgeable, trustworthy and efficient. In the last cycle (2021), the owner got personally involved and helped to resolve a number of potentially fatal issues with the various other contracting parties. I am so happy with my new house (finally), and so I would like to thank Mike and all his staff for their sterling efforts. I would recommend Meade to anyone buying or selling in the Bow area.

As we went through the sales process, we had a good level of communication, being informed of progress regularly.We were aware of the efforts Meades were making with both parties solicitors to try and expedite the sale.Should we ever have the need of an Estate agent in the future, it would be Meades and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We sold our London flat through WJ Meade after renting it out for over a decade. Their advice and guidance was spot on from the word go. It is really worth investing in a local agent like WJ Meade, who were in our opinion much better value for money than a generic internet based service (Purple Bricks etc), and as such worth paying a slightly higher fee. Our property was not an easy one to sell and they worked hard to get a fair price for us. Communication was honest and prompt all the way through the process. We would recommend their services unreservedly.
