FANTASTIC SERVICEI have had a longstanding association with WJ Meade who managed my rental flat for more than 15 years. They were excellent and especially quick to deal efficiently with any issues with my property. Then when I decided to sell the flat WJ Meade stepped up again - superior service all round!

In a very tough market WJ Meade achieved a sale very close to asking price without much fuss. No nonsense and very honest approach particularly with regards valuation was very key. Rather than inflate to win a mandate WJ Meade will give you a realistic idea of what a buyer will actually pay and then work hard to outperform that. Great local knowledge. Very professional throughout and highly recommended.

Called to enquire about a property and the agent was rude to me. He then proceeded to shut down my concern when I raised this and hung up the phone on me.
Good afternoon,We have spoken with the team and managed to trace the call. You enquired about a property and then hung up on our operative when they told you how to send a formal enquiry. You then rang a second time asking if this property had a virtual viewing; you were told no and that several offers had already been forward. As you were disappointed, you then continued by asking if we 'generally did virtual viewings' and became rude to our operative. Our operative told you that it was a case by case basis and you again, did not like this answer. That is when they began to shut the conversation down and said they would be ending the call.We take a zero tolerance approach here at W J Meade when customer's are being rude or abusive to our staff. We always advise our staff that if a customer begins to become verbally abusive, it is best to try and end the conversation as soon as possible. As per the agent's advice, if you would like to see the property, please do send a viewing request through the selected portal in which you were viewing the property on. The designated lettings manager will get back to you as soon as possible. Kind regards,W J Meade

GoogleDisgusted with the customer service from w.j Meade, one person in particular Gareth. After viewing a property and becoming interested, I was waiting to hear back after from him, when I finally did I was told she decided on someone else but wasn't set in stone as of yet and would keep me updated, to which I asked if he could help me with afew other properties I was interested in viewing etc, after texting, ringing and emailing (even the head office) I still haven't received a single update, text call or anything! Good morning Lucy, I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your experience with W J Meade. I have looked into this and can see that Gareth did try to assist you with the property you originally enquired about, but unfortunately the landlord has declined all applicants put forward and he made sure to update you. Gareth also informed you there was no other suitable properties that we had at the time, but he would get in touch if something came up. You contacted head office, but they do not deal with front end lettings, so please make sure that going forward you contact the branch in question where the property is being advertised. I can't recommend WJ Meade highly enough. They made selling my house a breeze and consistently went the extra mile. The branch manager, Michael, is a lovely guy and has an excellent manner. He's the total opposite of a "pushy" estate agent. He made sure that both the buyer and myself were looked after throughout the process, and was always available to answer any questions I might have. I would definitely sell or buy through them again.

I had a great experience with WJ Meade, from their valuation through to the completion of my sale, everything was faultless. My first buyer pulled out a couple of days after making an offer and Harry Pitkin was on the ball lining up viewings straight away, and another buyer was found a day later. Michael Whitby remained in continual contact throughout the sale process following up with solicitors and keeping the whole process moving along in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend the team at WJ Meade in Bow.
