Bringing my flat to market was trouble free, thanks to Mike Maddin and the Meade team. But closing the sale took far longer and proved much harder than any of us expected, thanks to a missing legal document, the snail's pace at which its replacement was drafted and a frustrating subsequent delay that raised my stress level to 11. Mike and Michael Whitby gave me extraordinary support throughout the 15 months it took to reach completion; they offered practical advice based on their decades of experience and also helped keep my buyers on track. I knew from my first meeting with Mike that we would get on, and we certainly did as he guided me through the process and responded swiftly to my peiodic cries for help. Michael was brilliant at chasing solicitors and keeping me informed of progress or lack of it. If everything had run smoothly and the sale had happened within three or four months, I'm sure I would have written a positive review about Meade's service; but because the sale proved much trickier, I was able to see the true professionalism and genuine kindness that Mike, Michael and the team brought to the job. I would not hesitate to recommend Meade to anyone thinking of selling (or buying) a property in East London. They went above and beyond to ensure that my flat was sold, which is why I am pleased to thank them here with a five-star review and three cheers!

A prospective viewing lead to only positive experience of the Mile End office team. Starting off with the impeccable courtesy of Billy Collins whose patience, professionalism and desire to assist was such a refreshing experience. This was followed by the industry knowledge of the branch manager, Michael Whitby, whose support and diligence rewarded us with our completion of purchase. Communication was key and it unlocked a new home with an exciting future. We can only give thanks and greatest recommendation.

It was only after we informed the other party that they had been unsuccessful that they chose to put forward a higher offer. We legally have to put all offers to the vendor, at any stage during a transaction until contracts have exchanged, so our hands were tied. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the agency, as a potential buyer. I was surprised by the fact that they kept on collecting offers once I put mine. Once my best and final offer had been accepted, the day after they allowed the other potential buyer to increase their offer and they managed to get it through. Very unprofessional. Stay away front the agency, if you can.
