A very positive experience. Our situation was relatively unusual, in that the chain fell down on an initial purchase we were making (with another estate agent) and - with our mortgage offer three weeks from expiry - we found a new house via W&D which we wanted to use it for. With the mortgage rates rising to an unaffordable level after the expiry date, the sale could only go through with a quick turnaround. As anyone who has bought a home can testify, three weeks is an almost impossibly tight turnaround, but W&D really applied themselves to making this happen. They were extremely efficient and responsive at every stage, and are clearly well-connected with other organisations locally, with the result that the sale went through within the month.

I can’t thank the Hockley team enough! W&D sold my mothers property at a very difficult time, meaning viewings were not always possible/easy, but they were always friendly and accommodating and handled our situation with care. From start to finish, we found every staff member a pleasure to deal with and very efficient. The property sold for a good price and although it was a rocky process, Paul and the team did their upmost to keep things running smoothly. We began our property search with Williams & Donovan in February 2022. After months of searching we finally found a property and had an offer accepted in the May (not without help from Anita and Leigh!) 3 months later, we were gutted to hear the seller was no longer going through with the sale and we were back to square one. Within a couple of days, we had a call from Anita letting us know of a property that was due to come to market that she thought we would like - really appreciate the personal touch! Eventually, 2 months later we find the “one”, as recommended by Anita. Throughout the trials and tribulations of searching for a home to buy, Anita, Lynn and the team have helped us every step of the way. They took the time to get to know what sort of things were important to us and show us around so many properties! We appreciate every little bit of their help and are so grateful - thank you!
