GoogleThree hour journey for a viewing that was cancelled and they failed to notify me - Further to this they have claimed in their response that they left messages, I don’t know how as my phone does not allow voicemails and that they emailed they have not. I’ve emailed the agent directly and they do not respond.
Hi Daniel, we apologise for any inconvenience you were caused. We did leave two messages to explain that the vendors had received an offer and that the property was no longer available, the vendor was also aware of the circumstances. We also sent an email to your contact address. We contacted you as soon as we were aware of the situation but unfortunately the messages weren’t picked up prior to the viewing. We know how frustrating this situation has been for you and we do sympathise but unfortunately it was out of our control as we had no other means of contacting you. GoogleThis review is for all the staff at Williams and Donovan. We moved last week, and it was a bit off a nightmare to say the least. Stephen was very supportive and knowledgeable, as were other members of staff that we spoke to we were kept in the loop with each step. Stephen explained a bit better than the solicitor of any off the problems that had arisen. He handled everything very professionally and put us at ease. However, Paul was an absolute constant support throughout the process. Paul’s ability to get updates across the chain was invaluable, he clearly has all the connections with solicitors and local estate agencies. GoogleI can’t thank the Hockley team enough! W&D sold my mothers property at a very difficult time, meaning viewings were not always possible/easy, but they were always friendly and accommodating and handled our situation with care. From start to finish, we found every staff member a pleasure to deal with and very efficient. The property sold for a good price and although it was a rocky process, Paul and the team did their upmost to keep things running smoothly. I would especially like to thank Tom, Paul, Denise & Baily for your efforts. I would definitely recommend Williams and Donovan, and will be using them again in the future.

GoogleThese glorious humans... in a diabolical nightmare in which we sold three times, lost our buyer twice, bought a fixer-upper house from a divorcing couple at war with basically zero avenues of communication that thanks to our woeful solicitors took OVER FIVE MONTHS, W&D were just so utterly splendid. Leigh (sadly gone from the branch for a new job - rude), Jack, Paul and Paul were always so helpful and professional and managed to steer the ship of our long-awaited purchase to safety, eventually. And then they bought me flowers. Absolutely joyous people in a nightmare of an industry!

GoogleWhen a relatively straightforward quick sale turns into a situation where we wanted to bang our heads ( and others!) against a wall, we had the one thread throughout, who knew what he was doing, sympathised with the frustration of it all, and more importantly, rang us back when he said he would, chased people up when he said he would, had our corner and got results by constantly contacting the relevant parties who at times, clearly didn't communicate with their own staff, didn't pass on emails and didn't ring us back..... and that was Paul at Williams and Donovan. Thank goodness for Paul!! Both ourselves and our buyer agree, if it wasn't for Paul we'd still be weeks behind. Thank you Paul. You've done a grand job 👏.
