GoogleWe can’t thank Williams and Donovan enough for all their hard work making our move happen . From start to finish they have been nothing but professional and always very friendly and helpful. Phone calls and emails were always answered promptly and communication was excellent. A special mention to Anita who showed many a potential buyer round and then Stephanie who doggedly chases everything and everyone up to ensure the sale crosses the line . We really felt like the team have become part of the family over the last year and We cannot recommend them highly enough .

GoogleWilliams and Donovan were fantastic to deal with. Really friendly, very efficient and excellent communications. Stephanie, my sales progressor, in particular was stand out! It was a difficult & complicated chain with numerous issues lower down and she kept pushing it along, solving problems that were not even hers to solve. The entire team were excellent and a very refreshing change after dealing with a crap agency previously who really should aspire to do much better.

GoogleIf you are looking for a friendly, supportive and straightforward estate agents to list with, you can’t do better than W&D. We couldn’t have had a better experience with them, the entire team are always so friendly and helpful. Whenever we had to call up, it was clear that, even though we were typically dealing with certain team members, everyone knew who we were, what our property was, where we were at, and it really counts for a lot. GoogleWe rarely leave reviews but it would be an injustice not to in this case. We made the decision to place our house on the market mid February. Darren at Benfleet branch was our first port of contact, he came out to go through the finer details with us. What a relaxed gent! He put our minds at ease as to the whole process and what to expect going forward. He sang the praises of his work colleagues and to be fair we felt so confident in him that by 25th February our house went live on Rightmove. The viewings were fast and many and all of the staff doing the leg work to show potential purchasers around were professional and respectful of our home, they worked around the 5 of us and our work shift patterns. Anita seemed to be at our house more than we were at one point! Within just over a week our house was sold STC. Onto sales progression and Stephanie now took the lead and what a faultless process. Constantly chasing solicitors and working through the whole chain pushing the sale forward. She was the main point of contact and seemed to be one step ahead of us the whole time, her invaluable knowledge pushed the solicitors forward quickly and efficiently which sped the whole process up. Never did we expect to be in our new home by 6th July and that was with us initially finding a property with an alternate agent which then fell through. We then had to find another property which meant we slowed the process down. Thankfully once we did we were fortunate enough to buy through W&D Hockley branch which again meant Stephanie liased with them directly and taking the stress out of the equation for us. All in all 10/10 for Williams & Donovan from sale to purchase. To anyone reading this review. If you want a stress free sale and up to date information readily available throughout the process we would highly recommend Benfleet Williams & Donovan to do just that! James & Bonita.

GoogleI would advise prospective tenants to think carefully before renting through Williams & Donovan in Hockley based on our experience. Throughout my partners tenancy, he never missed a rent payment and looked after the property as if it were his own. When he moved out, the flat was left in excellent condition. It was professionally cleaned and, as he works as a painter and decorator, he also redecorated the entire flat before leaving. The property had white carpets, and the only issue identified was a very faint mark on the bedroom carpet. Given the colour and normal use of the property, we felt this fell within reasonable wear and tear. Unfortunately, he experienced significant difficulties when trying to recover his deposit. (Note...The landlord is a staff member at the letting agent) We felt that numerous reasons were given to justify deductions, and there was also an attempt to seek an additional month's rent, which we strongly disputed. Overall, I found the end-of-tenancy process stressful and disappointing. My experience left me feeling that I was not treated fairly despite taking good care of the property and fulfilling all of my responsibilities as a tenant. Be cautious

The property needed some work doing but Lloyd came to do photos and his write-up reflected what was required. Anita and Denise kept us fully up to date on viewings etc and with Stephanie`s invaluable and expert help we sold the property. Thanks to you all for your help in getting us over the line. GoogleFrom the first viewing with Anita to the process of making an offer to the exchanging of contracts, the staff at Williams and Donovan have been extremely helpful and professional. Stephanie held my hand to enable me to complete the necessary paperwork for the Solicitor and couldn't of done enough for me to complete the signing and getting it all posted off to the Solicitor.
