GoogleI recently rented a property through Williams & Donavan, I dealt with a lettings negotiator called Lorraine... very happy with the service and nothing was to much trouble, she was brilliant at guiding me through the rental and any questions I had were quickly answered and she always replied to all my emails and calls. I have found this to be a rare quality in lettings negotiators so I can't rate them highly enough.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleHugely capable & competent. Very reassuring from start to finish. Having bought and sold a few times through the Hockley branch. All the team there are so friendly, helpful, down to earth and approachable, to the point where I'm actually going to miss speaking to them. They always return calls and reply when they say they're going to, via phone and email, but most importantly they all work as a team. These guys really do know their field and therefore come very highly recommended. Nobody else comes close. Thank you W&D.

GoogleWe would highly recommend the team at William & Donovan Hockley. They have been beyond amazing with the purchase of the house. Always happy to help and answer any questions we had and went above and beyond, keeping in touch with us and our conveyancer We worked closely with Paul who is evidently highly experienced, was efficient and always very friendly. He made everything as easy as it could have been and we can't thank him enough for all the work he put in for us. Keeping things moving and getting stuff done. Denise was also always very polite, professional and was always able to answer the phone when needed. All in all cannot fault this team who played a big part in reducing the whole stress of moving. The flowers they gave us when we picked up the keys were also a pleasant surprise. Thank you.

GoogleDenise at W&D Hockley, has been an absolute superstar. We purchased from them, and sold our house via another agent. She has been so warm, approachable and efficient is all communication. Despite my constant badgering, pregnant, hormonal ramblings, she never left me hanging and always fought our corner. More so than our own agent!! Thanks again for your continued support and pushing for finally getting this over the line. We look forward to moving day on 2nd March! I would not hesitate to recommend W&D 👌🏻

GoogleTom (W & D Hockley) came to value our property. Unlike some other agents, he wasn’t pushy or forceful but really professional and knowledgeable and we were very pleased with the photographs that he took. Then Denise looked after us from beginning to end and she was absolutely brilliant keeping us updated with regular progress reports. She was patient, kind, empathetic and really knew her stuff. Thank you Denise for all your help and support. We would also like to say thank you to Paul who looked after us while Denise was on annual leave. He really had his work cut out towards the end of our sale with unresponsive parties at the beginning of the chain but his dogged determination resulted in a satisfactory outcome. All in all the whole team at Hockley were great; always answering the telephone in a polite, courteous manner, passing on messages in a timely manner to ensure that phone calls were returned promptly. We would have no hesitation in recommending Williams & Donovan; they made a potentially stressful chapter in our lives really quite bearable.

GoogleWe really appreciated all the effort from Williams and Donovan (Hockley) throughout our move. We put our house on the market and it sold within 2 weeks! We couldn’t believe it. All throughout the sale and purchase process the staff at W&D (especially Denise) were superb. They kept me suitably informed and when we had little snags (as there inevitably are) like a last minute request to change a completion date on the exchange date, to quote Denise, she “stuck her pointy shoes on and put her foot down” and completion happened on the originally planned date without a hitch! I would absolutely recommend them!

GoogleWhen I was moving out due to my ex and I splitting, Williams and Donovan contacted my ex regarding everything to do with moving out and had next to no communication with me. Despite the fact that my ex had never rented before and I had, and he was 5 years younger than me they just assumed that because he was MALE that he dealt with everything. I found this very sexist. They obviously assumed that he would pass on information to me but since we were breaking up and lacked communication at times he didn’t and I felt very excluded from the whole process. One time Williams and Donovan called me and when I answered she was disappointed because she thought it was my ex’s mobile number, she was asking for him and said “oh I thought this was his number” and then hung up to call him as if it was secret and I didn’t live there. I dealt with everything in that flat, organised moving in, every bill because he had never done it before, yet Williams and Donovan would only communicate with him and not both of us when it came to moving out. Really old fashioned view points on their part and insensitive of the fact that I was going through a breakup and losing the flat, that, to add insult they just excluded me. Totally unprofessional and others that I have told or who were around me during this time when this was happening have agreed. Would never let with them again.

Huge thanks first to Mark, who was patient, helpful & calm (especially when I panicked - which was frequently), lovely Darren, who we met with initially and took all the pics (great job). James, always bright and charming on the phone and Lynne, so friendly, helpful and such perseverance :) lastly Lloyd, for his helpfulness, calmness and again patience. So sorry if I have forgotten anyone but these are all who I think we dealt with personally. You are all such a lovely bunch of people and we wish you all the very best for 2020 and the future. GoogleI want to thank W&D (Benfleet) and in particular, the wonderful Lynn. We’ve had a very difficult 6 months trying to purchase a property due to the chain falling through numerous times and problems with solicitors. We were on a tight deadline with our mortgage offer very expiring soon and if it hadn’t been for all her hard work we definitely wouldn’t have exchanged in time for completion before this deadline. She was emotionally invested in our journey to completion and I could genuinely feel how much she cared for us. Thank you Lynn and to all the Williams and Donovan team. I will be recommending you to family and friends! X

GoogleEfficient, professional and got the job done I have had dealings with several members of the team at Williams & Donovan and they have all been professional, kind and patient. They have guided us through every step of the way and have given us support and guidance in what has been a very stressful time in our lives but they have definitely made the process easier They gave us a realistic valuation for the property whereas one of the other estate agents that provided us a valuation was very low. I can’t praise Lloyd and the rest of the team enough and if I ever sell a property again I would go straight to Williams & Donovan.
