GoogleWilliams and Donovan … complete liars and crooks .. they withhold offers or refuse to put an offer in on the lie and pretence that the client won’t accept offers under a certain number , when you speak to the owner they have no idea !! This estate agent save properties for their builder friends and deceive the general public Friends of mine had exactly the same experience .. so this can’t be a one off Don’t touch these with a barge pole.
As a company we pride ourselves on being completely honest and transparent especially when it comes to putting ALL offers forward to our vendors. Unfortunately, we don’t have any customer record on file for ‘Paul Brook’, so would need more detail to look into this further for you. GoogleTERRIBLE AVOID! We recently purchased a house through Williams & Donovan, it was advertised everywhere as having a south facing garden. Once in the property realised it was in fact a NW facing garden. Brought this up with them and got a response from Sales Director James Whyte. Who was rude and ignorant, not even so much as an apology on their behalf in fact they claimed it was my solicitors fault as they done searches. I didn’t think they searched for potential lies from estate agent. James is rude, condescending and arrogant. If this is how director level deal with complaints I would hate to see how the rest of the firm is run. Would give 0 Stars if I could.
I’m sorry that you weren’t satisfied with the level of service you received, I have remained in frequent contact with you and tried to help as much as I could throughout your sale and afterwards, so it does come as a surprise that you have described me as ‘arrogant and condescending’. I have been honest and open with you and when you suggested contacting the Property Ombudsman, I supported your decision to do so. You agreed the sale in March and proceeded to purchase for the following 4 months until completion. You also re-visited the property on more than one occasion, during that time. Once you moved in you contacted us regarding the issue, I have replied every time, however when a situation cannot be resolved, as in this instance, then the ombudsmen are in place. I have worked here 18 years and never has anyone before said that I am rude, arrogant or condescending. Hopefully this can be resolved and you can start to enjoy your new home. Regards James Whyte

Really good service through out the process and considering the last time I moved was 17 years ago, thanks to them both they were very patient with me! When I finally purchased my bungalow, I received such a beautiful touch with some flowers! I would recommend Williams & Donovan to anyone, excellent service and so friendly

Paul you’ve been a great support, chasing through the chain and keeping me informed of what’s happening. Traditionally estate agents get a bad rep, but there’s something quite nice about working with Williams & Donovan, like an old friend.
