GoogleHad such a positive experience finding a flat felt compelled to leave a review which I never normally do - Florence in particular was so lovely, efficient and sorted everything out for me so quickly! She did the viewing really smoothly despite being inundated with many applicants and clearly had a great relationship with the current tenant as well. Highly recommend!

GoogleA friend recommended Whitlock & Heaps and I can see why she spoke so highly of the company. The whole team was brilliant - professional and helpful at all times. Jack in particular was absolutely brilliant throughout the process - incredibly helpful, honest and always available to speak. The photos and marketing of the house were extremely professional. Viewings were well organised and feedback was always provided immediately afterwards. Jack was always on hand to offer advice but was never pushy in any way. Thank you Jack and the Whitlock & Heaps team for making the process as smooth as it possibly could have been. I will definitely be recommending you to others!

GoogleLied us into agreeing to an assured short hold (when we stated we wanted a long-term), booting us out before the new renter rights could cover us. We didn’t even get the chance to fully unpack our furniture. Wouldn’t Recommend.

GoogleI rented a flat through Whitlock & Heaps and was their client for over four years. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing.The only person in the office who was consistently friendly and professional was Marie. The rest of the staff were generally unapproachable and unhelpful. Despite repeated promises to address problems in the flat,nothing was ever properly resolved. Issues were acknowledged, but no real action was taken.What upset me the most was my experience with Jan Heaven. I found her attitude extremely arrogant and disrespectful. I also strongly felt that because I am not British, I was treated differently and subjected to comments that I perceived as discriminatory and inappropriate. This was deeply hurtful and unacceptable.I believe the owner of this agency should be much more careful when selecting staff, especially when it comes to professionalism, respect, and equality. No client should ever feel uncomfortable or discriminated against.Because of this experience, I will not be using this agency again, and I would not recommend it to friends or family.
Firstly and most importantly I would like to clarify that Whitlock & Heaps is an inclusive organisation that works with clients and tenants from a wide range of countries and nationalities. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, and all individuals are treated equally and with respect. With regard to maintenance matters, our records show that all reported issues were acknowledged and addressed within appropriate timeframes, with contractors instructed and works carried out where required. We recognise that, at times, outcomes may not always meet expectations, but we are satisfied that matters were handled promptly and in accordance with standard procedures. Below are two emails received from your co-tenant which also contradict your comments. Sent: 15 January 2025 09:34 To: Jan Subject: RE: Sheridan Mansions Hi Jan, Hope you had good holiday and amazing new year’s, I wanted to thank you for getting the windows guys to come fix the drafts. They have got it done last week. Been very busy Lately so couldn’t inform then. The flooring guys will also fix the kitchen flooring on 28th January. We really appreciate you and team getting all this done. I have had very positive experience with Whitlock and Heaps in last year with the flat. Thanks again to all of you and have an amazing 2025. GoogleIf there was an estate agent of the year award Jack Fisk of Whitlock & Heaps should be nominated. Jack was involved in every part of my 96 year old mother’s house move and went above and beyond the usual estate agent role. At 96, with one daughter living abroad and the other living in North Yorkshire, my mother had no idea how to use the internet or a smart phone, therefore all documents were mailed either to Jack or sent by post to my mother’s home address. Jack helped her complete and send off all the paperwork, sat through the laborious site plan meetings with my mother in his office and at a drop of a hat, went to see my mother at her home if any information was needed. He explained everything clearly and helped make this house move as stress free as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for Jack. Thank you Jack for everything you have done. We can never repay your professionalism and kindness enough. To anyone who is looking for a fantastic estate agent who goes more than the extra mile, look no further than Whitlock & Heaps

I am so grateful to Jack Fisk, who was timely in communication, reassuring in legal adversity, and utterly tenacious in pursuing the sale of my flat over many months: It is obvious to me that more corporate agents would not have provided the same level of care, oversight and determination. Jack was constantly available via phone/email throughout all hours of the day to answer any questions I had and was able to bridge the gap of communication between myself, the seller and solicitors extremely effectively.
