I've recently exchanged on a property marketed by White and Sons in Oxted and can sincerely say that you will be lucky to have the team playing any part in your 'chain'. Loraine in particular has been key to pushing our chain to exchange. With a significant level of industry experience myself i understand the importance of proactively managing a sale through to completion.
