GoogleThe staff at Webbers work as a team and I have been extremely well informed, looked after and supported by everyone. I was selling my holiday home that I had run as a small business. This generated a lot of enquires and questions from prospective buyers. Each member of staff that were working on any given day over several months communicated effectively with me. They all shared information and conveyed information in a very competent and professional manner. They were personable, friendly and supported me in every way. The outstanding approach in their work was how they worked closely together, the notes on my file were maintained and up-to-date which made all the transactions and conversations with team members easy.

The Sales Progressor, Karen, helped to navigate the sale with the chain below and to keep updated. It took nearly 12 months from the initial viewing to completion, but we got there in the end!

When Connor Davies came to value my home, his valuation was not only in line with what I felt it was worth, but also much more realistic than other agents who had undervalued it. Connor explained the whole process clearly, took fantastic photos, and even went out of his way to return on a sunnier day to capture the best possible shot of the house. I felt comfortable and confident with him in my home and knew he was the right person to sell it. Throughout the whole process, I’ve been supported by an incredible team, special thanks to Connor Davies, Lucy Lapland, Sophie Holder, Lindsay Braddick, Val Bolton, Mark, Michelle, and Josh. They stayed in regular contact, chased things up quickly, provided thorough feedback after viewings, and pushed the sale through as smoothly and efficiently as possible. GoogleWell, what can I say. The team at Webbers / F&C are simply brilliant. Sophie from day 1 was tenacious and determined to help us sell our property. Market conditions and Financial uncertainties resulted in a long sale, but Sophie and the team kept us motivated and explored different options to get our house sold. GoogleAbsolutely disgusted by their behaviour. After loosing my father and asking for a probate value, I was informed it would be a “free valuation” when my mother in a terrible state entered the office and being told “it’s a business quote so it’s £200” by a very officious gentleman and she left in tears. Well I would not recommend this heartless company at all.
Dear Mr Chugg We are so sorry to hear that your experience with our office was not a positive one, the gentleman you met in the office no longer works for the company but we can confirm that we do not charge for probate valuations, unless of course you needed a RICS valuation for anything such as inheritance tax purposes. GoogleWe are extremely happy with the service we received from every member of the company. Everybody, including the lady who showed us around was professional, kind and personable. Most definitely the best estate agent we have ever had dealings with - thank you. From the first phone call to the follow up after we moved, our experience exceeded our expectations, and that was pretty much down to one man: John, who was absolutely incredible. He was professional yet so very personable and went above and beyond for us. By the time we moved house, we almost felt sad that our communication with him was over. He walked a journey with us and shared in our moments of joy when our offer was accepted, and was so supportive in the disappointing days when our house move was delayed. He showed so much genuine interest in both us and the elderly couple we were buying from. He seemed to know exactly what to say and it was very evident that he cared about all his clients. John communicated effectively and was always quick to respond to messages. He often checked in with us to see how we were and he worked tirelessly with other agents and solicitors down the chain to get the job done. The words above do not give justice to the gratitude we feel or to expertise, kindness and character of John, but we hope that our thoughts will be passed on and that he will be recognised because he is an absolute asset to your company and is an example to estate agents world wide of excellence, integrity and client commitment. GoogleWebbers are that rare thing - an estate agent who actually support you and follow up proactively as opposed to simply conducting a transaction. Grant and Lee were in regular contact and kept on top of the details of our purchase. And when difficulties arose they were unflappable and persevered where others would have given up (I speak from experience).

GoogleDespite the slow market, Webber's Ilfracombe did an excellent job of marketing my property and pushing the sale before the dreaded stamp duty rise. The staff are always friendly and easy to deal with. I purchased my property through them eight years ago and sold it with them more recently, and in both circumstances, they have excelled. The only thing to note when listing your property is that they automatically list it twice under an Over 50s scheme. If your property isn't suitable for this scheme, I'd recommend that it be excluded from this scheme since it can skew the pricing on Rightmove.
