When I was first shown the property by Paul, it was new to the market yet he was extremely helpful even though he was not fully briefed on the property. I was then in contact with Alice who helped engineer my offer being accepted by the vendor. Claire was then in touch with me to progress my purchase and helped the matter through to exchange. The Bideford office has been very efficient from start to finish. The transaction took just 8 weeks from offer to completion.

Very glad we chose Webbers Braunton branch to market our home. They have been supportive to us, giving us objective advice when we needed it, producing an attractive brochure for our home, engergetic in identifying potential buyers, and liaising with agents further down our chain to move it to exchange of contracts despite the current more difficult market. We have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Having made several home moves over the years Jon and his team are the most effective and good to work with agents we have used.

I honestly could recommend Webbers. We were given notice and Webbers were recommended to us. All of the staff were amazing. They found us our ideal home and we are over the moon. We recently bought a property through Webbers (Bideford office) and Claire Brandi was a stand out superstar! We had a particularly difficult chain and she went over and above to find out what the holds ups were, keeping us updated, and providing support and advice. She was friendly, approachable, super knowledgeable and made me feel like I had someone in my corner. Anyone who has bought a house knows that looking around and putting an offer in is the easy part, getting the purchase over the line can be painful, and without Claire I'm not sure we would have crossed the finish line. By far the best I've had the pleasure of working with.

This is the 3rd time I have used Webbers, the very first time to buy a property and because of the way they handled that, I have used them twice since. I have used many Estate Agents in the past 30 years and Webbers at Braunton are special and exceptional. The way they work together as a team is why they are significantly better than all the rest. I cannot fault Webbers at all, from the minute you put your property on the Market you instantly feel like they fall in love with your home, convey this to buyers and build very strong relationships with the buyer and seller. There is nothing professionally they won't do to help you, viewings, tidying, quick hoover, they really are special. I have no doubt their ratio of offer to actual completion is significantly better than all competition. Thank you for making me feel part of the Webbers family from the beginning to the completion. xx

Very grateful for Webbers!

We bought a house in Roundswell managed by Jon. Our buyers were, let’s say less than transparent, and our solicitors were very difficult to deal with. Jon helped us and our sellers throughout and we managed to get what was supposed to be a relatively straightforward transaction over the line. It would have been even more traumatic without Jon I’m sure - we wouldn’t hesistate to use Webbers if/when we come to move again! Thank you to Jon and the whole Webbers team!

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Sellers beware, these agents are none too keen to arrange viewings. We tried to arrange a viewing for a house and were told that given ours isn't on the market yet we could not view. We're in a position to buy regardless so this made no sense. The house in question has been on the market for a long time and as far as we can tell has already had at least one price reductions. Bizarre attitude gatekeeping a property, that is clearly not easy to sell, like that. Or maybe that's why it's not selling! To add insult to injury they then added us to a mailing list for new developments. We never gave them permission to do this. After being inundated with unwanted emails and after FOUR requests to remove us, eventually they complied (the last request came with a threat to report them to the ICO for a GDPR breach). Maybe their focus is new build developments - bit of a pity for sellers who have signed some agency agreements with them! We won't bother looking at any homes being marketed by this "agency" (I use the term ironically).

Estate agent I will now always avoid. Unfortunately our experience was completely ruined by one estate agent not particularly the company. Never introduced his self (actually thought he was the owner of the house we were viewing) told us to just look around, when we asked questions about boiler, anything about the property he had absolutely no idea. I told him what the description was and that someone on the phone informed me about a local mine, when questioned he didn’t know. Much older gent who clearly doesn’t want to do the job anymore… Safe to say we will not be buying or selling with a house up with webbs

What a brilliant experience we have had. Hannah and Marie listened to what we wanted and after our first visit we felt very comfortable with them. Donning ppe to meeting the site foreman enabled us to formulate our plan and pick a suitable plot. Not good for landlords

I am a long-standing landlord. Webbers in the South West appear to offer a good rental management service, but in reality it is sketchy and offers little for the money. Unless as a property owner you accept their 'chosen traders' estimates without question, they cannot / will not deal with the smallest issues. Actually they constantly delay response to tenants' issues, and no-one including Charlie in control of maintenance seems to have any practical understanding of property maintenance or the normal costs of basic maintenance work. The estimates they produce are routinely inflated. If you choose them to manage your property be aware you will either pay over the odds for maintenance or end up doing most of the management yourself anyway.

We are exceptionally pleased of the service from start to finish that we received from Webbers Braunton Estate Agents and highly recommend them to anyone considering selling their home. Having sought advice from a number of estate agents in the local area, the professionalism and confidence we received from Webbers was second to none. Their commission was slightly higher than others, but their commitment, honesty and attention to detail was certainly worth every single penny. The promotional material and photographs were exceptionally detailed and therefore gave their customers a true insight into our home whilst creating significant interest and multiple viewings. The level of communication from the whole team at Webbers is by far their biggest strength, this was apparent throughout from the initial stages when receiving offers, to the regular progress updates, right up to our purchase and sale. Despite a very last minute and disappointing breakdown in the chain for our out of area buyers prior to completion, the whole team at Webbers worked incredibly hard to regularly advise, guide and support our buyers to ensure a swift rebuild of the chain whilst maintaining regular communication with all parties. This level of communication continued right up to our final exchange date. The whole team clearly works hard at keeping detailed notes and updates for each of their clients as no matter who we called and spoke to at the office, they were incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and understanding. If I could award more than 5 stars I would!!!

Nathan was not helpful at all!

Terrible service from Nathan over the past couple of weeks! Absolutely impossible to book a site view on their Launceston site. Wanted a Saturday visit, but apparently no one there to do it. Tried for a Monday visit, but two days later Nathan had still not come back to me. Running two businesses myself for 25 years now, there is no way I will be dealing with this company going forward. If the service is like this to start with, goodness only knows how I would go on if I had a problem with the NHBC 10 year warranty (Buildmark)!
