GoogleWebbers were incredibly helpful with our house purchase from start to finish. The first house they sent details on was a perfect match to our requirements, and we immediately made an offer "sight unseen" without looking at any other properties.
The whole process was more complicated since we were living abroad and had a house to sell, but we were able to move from offer to completion in about 3 months, exchanging contracts after only 2 months.
Communication was great every step of the way, despite an 8-hour time difference: we always knew exactly what was going on and were able to contact our agent easily.
If I find myself in a position to buy or sell another home, I know exactly where I'm going! Thanks Webbers!

A special mention has to go to Alison, their progression officer. GoogleApplied to view a house, and got shortlisted for a viewing. Drove all the way out there and the estate agent no showed. They called me the minute I pulled up with excuses about having a problem with the key, and that we would have to reschedule - after I had already arrived to view the property.
Totally unprofessional. I'm sick of having to rely on estate agents to get a roof over my head. They don't even have the courtesy to show up to a scheduled property viewing.

Unfortunately, we were unable to access the property due to an unforeseen issue with the locks, which had been changed without our knowledge. As soon as this became apparent, our team immediately contacted the office so that all scheduled viewers could be notified, and arrangements could be made to prevent any further wasted journeys.
Although some viewers were already en route, our representative remained at the property to personally apologise to anyone who arrived and to provide assistance where possible. We fully appreciate that this situation was disappointing, particularly after making the effort to attend a scheduled appointment.
Please accept our apologies once again, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We strongly disagree with this characterisation of our process.
As clearly stated in our listings, all prospective tenants are required to complete a short pre-application prior to any viewing being arranged. This includes basic information such as employment details, income, and any relevant credit history. The purpose of this is straightforward: to ensure applicants meet affordability criteria (typically around 30 times the monthly rent) and to allocate limited viewing slots fairly within a high-demand market.
At this stage, we do not request supporting documentation, and the information required is strictly limited to what is necessary to assess whether a viewing is appropriate. This approach is consistent with standard lettings practice and the principles of data minimisation under UK GDPR.
It is also standard practice across many sectors, including housing, financial services, and other regulated industries, for an initial assessment to include the provision of relevant background information.
Where applicants choose not to provide the minimum information required, we are unable to progress their enquiry. This is not a failure of service, but a necessary step in applying a clearly stated and consistently applied process.
We are a professional business with a duty to our landlords to identify suitable tenants efficiently, fairly, and responsibly. This requires a structured approach, which is applied consistently to all applicants without exception.
If this process does not align with your expectations, you are of course free to pursue alternative properties elsewhere.
