We’ve used the services of Trading Places for a second time and they've been absolutely brilliant. Steve came round to value our house and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We then had Sara dealing with both the sale and purchase and she was amazing, she gave us some fantastic tips and again she was very knowledgeable and patient. Excellent service from all at Trading Places Urmston. Lee was very professional with a pleasant disposition when he came to value Mums flat for probate. Chloe dealt with the sale of the flat and was very efficient and helpful and did everything in her power to push the sale along. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always made you feel important with her bubbly nature. It has been a pleasure to deal with Lee Chloe and Mark and would highly recommend their services. This company took over from Trading Places and I was contacted and told how good and efficient they were. Unfortunately this is not the case as a Landlord it's just been one cockup after another. Trading Places left me in a bit of a mess by allowing tenants to move onto rolling contracts and not renewing insurance agreements on several of my properties. It took quite a while to get things sorted. Also when they took over they kept asking for information I had already provided such as gas safeties, EICRs, etc. All information they should have had. I was getting fed up of this, if they take over an agency then all the relevant information is held by the agency, why am I being asked for copies of documents. Of course everything was Trading Places fault and they are not responsible. Recently I allowed them to take on maintenance, it was over Xmas, but 5 weeks later I hadn't received a single quote. So tenants are left with outstanding repairs and the agents are lying about keeping people informed. If I had not asked where they were upto then nothing would have been done. They also told me tenants were kept upto date, again not true. I spoke with my tenant and they had to call the agency to find out what was happening. They are parasites and not worth using if you have rental property. They let a tenant move in a day ago and then told me today the property needed cleaning etc. why the heck didn't they tell me before so I could have got it done. I mentioned it on the checkout that I thought the property needed cleaning, but they told me no it didn't and now it seems it did.

Living in London, I was faced with the difficult task of trying to sell my close friends house after he passed away. Along with a couple of other local Agents, I decided to give Trading Places the opportunity to bid for the job. I was hugely impressed with Steven Cox who did the site visit and decided to award them the contract. Following this, Trading Places were quick to organise the basics (paperwork etc) and were able to visit, do surveys and set up advertising media within a very short space of time, ensuring that the property went on the market as quickly as possible. I was given good contact details of the staff I would be dealing with and always received prompt replies to the various emails and phone calls that I made. We agreed on a selling price and sales strategy and I received regular weekly viewing updates without the need to chase. Unfortunately the first buyer had to pull out, so we had to remarket the property. I received sound advice as to what strategy to adopt regarding the subsequent pricing of the property. In a relatively short space of time Trading Places secured another interested buyer and a sale price was agreed. With no chain, I was hopeful that a quick sale could be achieved, however the buyers Solicitors dragged their heels somewhat. I am therefore indebted to Trading Places who keep up a constant dialogue with the buyers to make sure that they kept chasing their Solicitors. Yesterday we managed to complete the sale. As I said, I basically left all the hard work to Trading Places, as I was not local and they came up trumps. All the staff that I dealt with provided excellent service, however I must mention in dispatches their Senior Sales Progressor, Matt Butler who was effectively my primary point of contact most of the time and did more than anyone to make sure that this sale went through. It's unlikely that I will need to sell a property in this area again, however if I had to I would revert back to Trading Places immediately - well done everyone and thankyou so much for your help xx

Great service from Trading places Stretford . Its a trying time to sell a house but Sara and the team really did everything possible to secure a buyer and eventually it happened. The communication is great with updates by text, email and phone. I really liked the updates and feedback form following viewings. Special mention goes to Matt for going above and beyond and keeping an eye on the property for me. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I was looking to sell a property in the area.
