had an issue regarding a rental property that adjourned my own and is causing damage due to leaking gutter and pooling water next to my property, that's cause damp to my wall. Went in to complain and see what they would do, they promised that it would be fixed promptly! still after nearly 4 weeks still have the same issues and now Louise is completely ignoring my emails. would not recommend this property agent as they are completely unprofessional.

Met Sara from the team for a house viewing last weekend. We have seen lots of houses with many different estate agents and Sara was far and away the best of the bunch. She was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We had a long list of questions which she had already answered before we had asked any of them! There was also none of the high-pressure sales pitch we have got from other estate agents. An all round great experience that gives us great confidence moving forwards with Trading Places. Update March 2024. We have now moved in to our home and Trading Places continued to offer fantastic service throughout the rest of the buying process, always responding quickly to us and ensuring things kept moving along. They are a fantastic estate agents.

We’ve used the services of Trading Places for a second time and they've been absolutely brilliant. Steve came round to value our house and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We then had Sara dealing with both the sale and purchase and she was amazing, she gave us some fantastic tips and again she was very knowledgeable and patient. Thank you to Danielle as well as she kept us well informed throughout. A great experience and I wouldn’t use anyone else!

Great service from Trading places Stretford . Its a trying time to sell a house but Sara and the team really did everything possible to secure a buyer and eventually it happened. The communication is great with updates by text, email and phone. I really liked the updates and feedback form following viewings. Special mention goes to Matt for going above and beyond and keeping an eye on the property for me. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I was looking to sell a property in the area.

I’m leaving this review to warn others and hopefully prevent anyone from going through the same frustrating experience I did. I attempted to buy the property at 21 Anderton Lane, Eccles, M30 0YS. From the beginning, I received completely contradictory information regarding the sellers’ situation. I was told the sellers were ready to proceed, but after seven months, there was absolutely no progress. The agent managing the sale, Chloe Dillon, from trading places urmston, withheld critical information about the sellers’ position until I finally had no choice but to walk away. For anyone considering this property, be aware that the same situation happened last year, the sale never went through, and now it’s happened again with me. I lost seven months of my life chasing a purchase that was never going to happen. There were also inconsistencies around the Help to Buy documentation and confusion about when the property was actually put under the sellers’ names. Throughout the process, Chloe was unprofessional, dismissive, and entirely lacking in empathy. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against dealing with this estate agent.

Hi Sara. Rachael and Jack here from the viewing of a viewing in stretford. We just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your services on Saturday. You were honestly such a breath of fresh air and stand out from all the other estate agents who have shown us around previous properties. From first impressions you made us feel at ease and very welcome. Your appearance was impeccable, your polite and positive manners, collectiveness and kind energy and most importantly your delivery of information was second to none. We really liked that you had the information ready and you came forward with it before us even needing to ask. This makes a drastic change from our past experiences, hence why we feel the need to praise you on your outstanding work. I wish we could book you for any future viewing  (although hopefully we wont need any), but being serious I would recommend you in a heart beat. Your definitely a master of your craft so thank you again for making our viewing so Seemless. When the day comes and we have our own property to sell we would want you to represent it. My issue was that my shower wasn't working (more than 2 weeks in the end). There was no empathy, 0 proactivity , but of course before I even mentioned my request for rent reduction I was sent a link to an article so I'd know I can't withhold rent. Especially Danielle should think about why you cannot tell someone "we are cleaning the hallways and will do the garden up" when their shower is broken. doesn't help. I would stay clear.

I’d just like to say that without Sara and Callum I’m pretty sure this sale would never have happened. The sale fell through and the vendor was then reluctant to sell but because of Sara’s determination to get this over the line she made it happen. The sale of this property changed my life and gave me a new beginning and I think it’s important that Sara and the team realised what this meant to me. Cant recommend Trading Places highly enough ! Just completed the sale of my property with them, after what has been a very stressful time, due to a nightmare of a buyer ! Steve and his team, especially Sara, Callum & Rachel were all amazing throughout the whole process, very supportive and giving me sound advice throughout. Sara encouraged me to then keep going and another buyer was found, and a sale was achieved and completed within 7/8 weeks !! I only have good things to say about the Stretford Office of Trading Places. If I have to single one person out who went above and beyond that would be Rachel Cummings. Our house sale fell through twice but it third time lucky and everything was settled recently. The viewings were handled with great care. I was kept appraised of the situation at all times. My emails were answered promptly and my phone calls were returned. Rachel is a credit to this company. She is very understanding, knowledgeable and polite. I would have no hesitation in recommending Trading Places. They take a lot of the stress away in what is a very stressful thing to do.

I could not recommend trading places enough. The lengths they went to to help us find the right house were endless. They all work so hard and tirelessly to make sure you are happy and I appreciated this so much during a really stressful process of finding a house. We viewed around 30 houses altogether and most were with trading places. My main thank you has to be to Sara who is just amazing and lovely! She is the reason we found our amazing home and I will forever be grateful. Another thank you to Rachel (who fit in a viewing after hours for us), Callum and Danielle who were also very helpful.

We were buying and selling with Trading Places and I cannot thank them enough for the support and professionalism we have received from the Stretford Team (Rachel, Callum and Sara). Rachel was coordinating our case and her support was beyond anything one could ever expect of the estate agent. She and Sarah managed to sell our apartment in no time and she helped us to secure the buy of our new home. We have had major issues with our (first time) buyer’s solicitors and if it was not for Rachel’s dedication and ability to push through we would probably lost our new home. She was brilliant acting as a middleman between all parties, chasing hopeless solicitors of our buyer almost daily to make sure the sell and purchase are going ahead. I cannot recommend Trading Places highly enough. I recommend them to all my friends in the area. Our experience was brilliant from start to finish. We requested a valuation and Steve himself came round almost as soon as I'd sent the email. He gave us a valuation and was extremely lovely and personal. It made the thought of selling our beloved family home much less of a wrench and he helped us get excited for the future. Danielle came to take photos soon after and did an amazing job, the house looked fantastic. I've kept the pictures as a keepsake of our special first family home. The team arranged an open house and we got so much interest and offers that it was sold in a weekend! They took the stress and worry out of it for us and it was nothing but exciting! Buying was almost just as easy. We looked for a while, had viewings at a few with the super lovely, friendly, smiley Sara. She was great and understood exactly what we wanted, made us feel completely comfortable, made a fuss of our little boy and helped us so much. She was there to offer advice when we needed it and eventually helped us find the home we loved. The team again offered us advice on what to offer and we were so lucky to get the house we loved, again with no stress or complications. The Trading Places team are just amazing, they are so experienced and great at what they do. I wouldn't use anyone else! Poor customer service experienced ever… mismanagement at this place can’t recommend them… They don’t care about your time, i driven from 45 minutes to view a house in Stratford and when reached property nobody was available for viewing and they didn’t even contacted me to change the appointment or to cancel then I went to there office regarding this issue they told me they tried to contact me but they have totally wrong contact number even though I provided them my contact details already. Spoke to Rachel who was very rude looks like she is not happy with her job.

If estate agents get a bad name, Danielle and her team are why. With a monopoly on the Stretford area and a booming market, rude emails and zero support were the norm during my challenging first time purchase. I found the whole process unduly stressful and Trading Places didn't help a lick. I'm sure I'll be met with criticism in a reply on here instead of understanding that they could improve their service. I also may be told they have no record of me and perhaps I've got the wrong Trading Places - as they do on almost all negative reviews. C'est la vie, when we come to sell, I won't be choosing Trading Places Stretford.

We cannot rate Trading Places and the whole team highly enough! They helped us with both the sale of our first home and the purchase of our new one. We hit some bumps along the way on our journey to completion but the team at Trading Places were incredibly helpful and supportive - our move simply wouldn’t have gone ahead without all their hard work. We've been renting from Trading Places in Stretford for the past 2 and a bit years. Flat fees with deposit (not lots of additional charges) was a big plus on first impression and Sean Hand has been the best agent throughout our time here!!! Any time we've had any problems (it happens - boiler issues or the shower door comes loose for example), he's been super quick to get on it and get someone round to help get things sorted! He's always a pleasure to chat to, polite and organised. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent 😊 thank you for everything Sean!

If you want to be relentlessly spammed, give them your email address. Edited 04/12/19 to note I got a rude response from the owner accusing me of being a keyboard warrior, blaming "IT issue" as if I would care and of trying to discredit them before speaking to them. Well, easy way to make it onto my list of businesses I won't deal with again. But just to note, the unsubscribe link in their emails does not work (I should know - I pressed it every day for a month), and sending them a firm email doesn't work, they ignore it. I wrote this review a few days after sending the email since it obviously hadn't worked. A few days after that, I called them and had to be insistent to get them to remove me. A lot of hassle for emails which were irrelevant to me because since I never asked to be added to their mailing list they had never had the opportunity to ask me what was relevant to me. So I stand by my original comment, quite frankly. Rude response or not. Response from the owner 22 hours ago Hi Robert and thanks for your review. Spam is often down to an IT issue which we as a company could be unaware of unless it is brought to our attention. You have not made a complaint through the appropriate channels instead took to being a keyboard warrior. If you had brought the matter to my attention I could have looked into it and treated in a professional way and tried to remedy the situation. It is too easy in this day and age to try and discredit a longstanding, professional company through Google. We work hard to provide the very best service and have a complaints procedure should something go wrong. We are part of the Property Ombudsman again showing our commitment to the best service. I would advise in future you contact people directly rather than hide behind your keyboard.

We bought our first property back in 2013 from Trading Places and in the last month have just sold our property and purchased our second house, again through Trading Places. Safe to say, if we didn't rate Trading Places as a 5 star Estate Agency we wouldn't have returned to use them again! We found Rob, Liz, Danielle and the team fantastic from start to finish. Rob took the time to come to our house late in the evening and talk everything through with us. He has a great knowledge of the market and it was reassuring that he was local to the area. Liz was fantastic throughout in keeping us up to date and Danielle helped us secure our dream home! We couldn't recommend Trading Places highly enough - they get results, offer a personal touch and really care about getting the best result as both a buyer and seller. We recently sold our house through Trading Places in Chorlton and I have to say that I was impressed with the service from beginning to end. Rob Hull was instrumental in us selling our house quickly and for a very good price. He was extremely personable, upfront and honest, which I particularly liked, and once we had sold the house, kept in touch with us constantly to let us know what was going on and to find out how we were progressing. We had some difficult moments with the chain post-sale, and Rob was extremely supportive and helpful throughout - going above and beyond our expectations - nothing was too much trouble. Had an excellent experience letting a property through Trading Places, Sean was thoroughly professional throughout and everything was well communicated in good time. I chose to let with trading places as they offered a much more personable and flexible service compared with other estate agents within the area.
