Her team was extremely helpful with the whole process. I only have good things to say about this agency and the landlords working with Trading Places. Sometimes a safe haven is a cozy little flat, that helps you get your act together for a couple years, while you work and save. I'm really grateful to this company for helping me move forward with life.

FacebookTerrible service and farcical administration. Trading Places sent us two copies of a £2500 invoice this week and asked us to write a review, so we are. We were due to complete this week but revived notification via a third party that the sale was off. Trading Places still haven’t contacted us directly after two days. We packed up our entire house to move and they didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us the sale was off. This follows a frankly farcical sale process where they repeatedly sent people to view the wrong house, and sent others on the wrong day. Surveyors turned up without any notification, and there has been radio silence from the company since they ‘secured’ the sale. The only thing they have done efficiently is send an invoice for a job not done. I’m astounded that they could treat clients so poorly. Needless to say, I couldn’t recommend them less - the mess that they have left us in will take a lot of time and work to sort out.

FacebookI cannot recommend Trading Places highly enough. I recommend them to all my friends in the area. Our experience was brilliant from start to finish. We requested a valuation and Steve himself came round almost as soon as I'd sent the email. He gave us a valuation and was extremely lovely and personal. It made the thought of selling our beloved family home much less of a wrench and he helped us get excited for the future. Danielle came to take photos soon after and did an amazing job, the house looked fantastic. I've kept the pictures as a keepsake of our special first family home. The team arranged an open house and we got so much interest and offers that it was sold in a weekend! They took the stress and worry out of it for us and it was nothing but exciting! Buying was almost just as easy. We looked for a while, had viewings at a few with the super lovely, friendly, smiley Sara. She was great and understood exactly what we wanted, made us feel completely comfortable, made a fuss of our little boy and helped us so much. She was there to offer advice when we needed it and eventually helped us find the home we loved. The team again offered us advice on what to offer and we were so lucky to get the house we loved, again with no stress or complications. The Trading Places team are just amazing, they are so experienced and great at what they do. I wouldn't use anyone else! GoogleSold my property through trading places back in Feb 21. Really responsive, called and a couple of days later they were valuating the house. Gave a few pointers to get the best value which we did and then a couple of weeks after the initial value it was on the market. The photos looked amazing... really drummed up potential buyers and it was sold less than a week achieving asking price which we were delighted with.
I must admit it was refreshing to deal with an agent who knows the market so well, there was a lot of historical information and knew what others had sold for with an insider knowledge.
The office team were always available and even during lockdown and stamp duty craze!! They seems to know instantly who I was and where my sale was up to. Did an excellent job of liaising between myself and the buyer and even to this day I can still lean on them for support, no problem.
The price for the sale was also very appealing; most firms, as the market increases, so does the rate to sell the house. Well this is not the case at trading places. They are local reasonable people and know just because you have lives in Urmston all your life does not mean you want to pay inflated agency fees. At first I was considering using an online DIY agent but I would have only saved a couple of hundred on reflection and would have to do most of the work myself.
Finally I was also impressed how they went the extra mile, if i needed a trades person, say a gas engineer or a EPC cert etc. they always had someone available to help, again the price was not inflated and they did not take their cut.

We met Lee at the property on the Friday, they took photos on the Sunday and marketed it on on the Monday. The was a viewing on the Tuesday morning and by mid-afternoon an offer had been accepted. The whole process was extremely smooth and the sale completed when grant of probate was processed.
