I personally think it's immoral for you to be assisting in selling off, of public land with Greenwich council. It seems money speaks more to your company than basic moral values. You should rethink your values rather than get involved with corrupt deals like these.

After nearly a year of searching, we finally found a house tick all the boxes. Strettons came in and devalued the property cos they was not bothered. Claiming whatever they wished. They set the price however they liked. The house bigger than all the houses on that road is cheap and the small houses not even renovated are apparently expensive than big house. They dont even have an answer to that as they know they messed up. Which dont make sense at all. They blatantly lied in the report and were caught red-handed. They all know including Ray taylor. Instead of accepting responsibility and appearing small, also not helping us nor rectifying the situation we demand a full refund or we will initiate court proceedings. Ray Taylor from the complaints department thought he could assist us, but he has proven to be ineffective. He does not belong in complaint department at all. Every time we call him, he is in a meeting, and it is unclear what he is doing. He cannot even manage a single file. Whoever appointed him as an operational director must be lacking in judgment. This individual does not know how to handle a complaint. His colleagues under him are far more competent. We had hoped he could help, but he has turned out to be the worst person to approach. He claims he does not have time to talk but has plenty of time to send emails back and forth. What a strange individual he is. We informed him of multiple errors in the valuation. Instead of rectifying the situation, he discusses terms and conditions as if he owns Strettons, failing to realise he is merely an employee. Because of him, our family going to pursue court proceedings! We request a full refund, Strettons, as your company has not met its professional obligations.

Got money to throw away?

Got money to throw away? I STILL advise you to stay away from Strettons. Give it to the scammers from the Indian call centres or drug addicts. That way, at least you will save some time. It took them a whole NINE MONTHS and constant reminding from me to a certain Laura Moppett just to put a solicitor on the case. After 16 months on a simple transfer of lease, on the morning of completion, they accused me having not paid a quarter's rent. Not wanting to risk prolonging it further, I eventually had to agree to forfeit £6500 until I could find proof that I had paid them, even though I had paid them in exactly the same way as my previous payments. Upon completion, they did not pay me back my deposit. My solicitor asked them THREE times about it and they ignored him all three times. Once I provided them with evidence that I had, in fact, been up to date with all my rent payments, I still had to chase them up for the deposit. Next, they said that they were still awaiting payment for the buildings insurance (even though all paperwork had already been signed). Now I had to comb through dozens of emails to "prove" that that payment had also been paid already. Did they acknowledge it and apologise? Of course not. I had to chase them up again! When they got back to me a few days later, they came up with yet another delaying tactic. Apparently, they had "overlooked" a £950 + VAT fee for themselves. Do you see the irony? My deposit is being held up because THEY failed to notify their solicitor (whose fees we paid for) about a fee for their non-work and incompetence. Of course, even though completion papers had all been signed and so, legally, I was not obligated to pay anything more, I agreed to pay them anyway, just to get the rest of my money back. Another week has gone by since then and I have still not gotten anything. It is now over FOUR weeks since completion date. Strettons is by far the worst people I have ever had to deal with. They treat my patience and civility as stupidity and a willingness to be trampled all over. They do not care one iota about their clients. All that matters to them is profit. Once they have your money or have you in their grip, they can (and will) just ignore you for months on end. They have neither morals nor a conscience. Deal with them at your peril.

Avoid at all costs. I considered listing with them, big mistake. Communication is non-existent: calls go unanswered, emails are forgotten, and delays are constant. Absolutely no accountability. Go elsewhere. Save yourself the headache.

I sold my property through Strettons Auction and had a really positive experience. Stewart was very accommodating and always easy to get hold of on the phone, which made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. In the end we were very happy with the price achieved and sold prior the auction. I’d definitely recommend them.

We’ve just sold our flat in London with Strettons. What a team! Dealing with Michael and Stuart, we’ve been helped at every stage. This was a difficult flat to sell, requiring a lease extension. Their expertise was invaluable. They treat each transaction as a ‘home’ not just a house, understanding the emotional ties for buyer and seller alike. I will really miss dealing with them. They kept us up to date and advised. Always available, they took calls and WhatsApp’s and were fun too. Despite the flat taking a while to sell, they never flagged with their enthusiasm for the sale, treating each viewer as the first. Call them for your own property and you’ll find the best in London.

We worked with Bryn at Strettons to sell two leasehold flats at auction. He provided us with great service, guiding us through the whole process and ultimately succeed in selling both flats at a strong price despite the flats having some challenges around being in a mixed use building and being on short leases. To anyone with a similar property to sell I’d recommend Bryn and Strettons.

Superb service

I have used Strettons for various things over the years and I just wanted to leave review on my recent experiences. I have sold a commercial property through Strettons and Bryn was superb. Plain sailing the whole way. Also to mention Peter Costello who has carried out valuations for me many times over the last 13 years and is a pleasure to work with.
