GoogleI cannot recommend Streets Ahead Estate Agents in South Norwood highly enough. Their service was genuinely second to none, from the initial valuation right through to the successful sale of our property.
A special thank you to Michael, Nadim and Jibran, who were absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process. They were professional, knowledgeable, proactive and, most importantly, incredibly consistent. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We were kept updated, given detailed feedback after viewings, and never had to chase for information. They followed up and followed through. If they said they would do something, they did it, and they were constantly working behind the scenes to keep things moving and ensure the sale progressed as smoothly as possible.
They went above and beyond and made us feel that our sale was genuinely important to them.
I would 100% use Streets Ahead again and would have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking to sell their property.

GoogleWe’ve had such a positive experience with Paige from Streets Ahead South Norwood. From the moment we viewed the property, she’s been genuinely lovely to deal with and has made what can be a really stressful process feel so much easier.
What we’ve appreciated most is how communicative and helpful she’s been throughout. She’s kept us updated at every stage, answered all of our (many 😂) questions, and whenever something needed clarifying during referencing she was quick to look into it, speak to the relevant people and come back to us with an answer.
We were working with quite a tight timeframe to find somewhere, so having someone who was actually responsive and proactive made a massive difference. We never felt like we were being left in the dark or having to constantly chase for an update.
She’s also just been really warm and personable throughout the whole thing. It never felt overly transactional, and you can tell she genuinely cares about helping people get things over the line.

Hi Loretta,
We’re very sorry to hear how disappointed you have been, particularly having missed out on two properties and having incurred solicitor costs. We completely understand how upsetting and frustrating that must have been.
Unfortunately, I’m afraid this would be the case with any estate agent. Once an offer is accepted, we do put exclusivity in place and work towards progressing the sale, but ultimately, until contracts are exchanged, any party who has previously viewed the property is legally entitled to submit a formal offer.
When this happens, we are legally obliged to advise our client, the vendor, of the offer. We will always make them aware that accepting a further offer is against our best advice, particularly where a sale is already well progressed. However, the vendor is our client and, if they choose to proceed with another offer, we are legally required to act on their instructions, whether we agree with their decision or not. In most cases, where a sale is well progressed, the vendor will choose to continue with the existing buyer.
Unfortunately, this is more a consequence of the way the property buying and selling process works rather than an error or failing on the part of Karl Tatler. We are following the correct process and have done so throughout, but we are genuinely sorry that the outcome has left you feeling disappointed, particularly given the costs and inconvenience you have incurred.
We appreciate this offers little comfort given your experience, but we would also like to reassure you that this process is not influenced by whether a buyer has sold their own property through Karl Tatler. The same process applies to all buyers.
We’re very sorry that, on both occasions, the outcome has not been the one you had hoped for, and we wish you the very best for the future.
