GoogleWould highly recommend, they have always had my best interest at heart as a tenant. I would not want to be with any other estate agent. I have rented two beautiful homes from Stephenson Browne. Alex and his team have been very accommodating and professional.

GoogleThis review is long overdue as my computer skills were not up to it. The team who secured the sale of our house were good listeners & gave honest, useful advice at every stage. Two other agencies failed to find sufficient qualified buyers but Stephenson Browne were successful and we are now reaping the benefits of downsizing. Can't thank them enough.

GoogleWe have been tenants for years and have dealt with various letting agencies. The experience we had with Stephenson Browne, Newcastle Branch was stress free considering looking for a property is stressful in itself. During the process we were supported from the beginning till the end by Caroline Jones (who we must say is fantastic at her job) and Oliver, despite being new in his job showed great professionalism. The fees were not extortionate compared to other letting agents. Even after now, having been in the property for 2 months, they remained helpful and accommodating every time we have queries or need support in our property. We strongly recommend Stephenson Browne lettings to anyone looking for property. Definitely the most supportive letting agent we had so far! Mark and Nadine

Alex and the team always went above and beyond for us, Alex even giving us some much needed advice regarding mortgages when it came for us to buy our own house. GoogleWe recently sold our house with Stephenson Browne at Newcastle-under-Lyme and received excellent service throughout. We found the whole team to be friendly, helpful and professional. They were always there to answer our many queries and kept us informed at every stage of selling our house which we much appreciated. Selling your house can be a stressful experience but they made the whole process a smooth one for us. We would highly recommend Stephenson Browne to anyone wishing to sell a property in the area. From advertising the property, through to finding a suitable tenant and then managing the property, the service that we have received from this company has been consistently high. Any problems at the property have been quickly and efficiently resolved, and we have been kept fully informed at all times by the professional and helpful staff at the Alsager office.

GoogleBelow is my first review of Stephenson Browne, recently however they sold my home for me. I also purchased a new house from them , well a bungalow actually. The sales negotiator who dealt with me was very good. The salsa chaser worked exceptionally hard at the end as my buyers solicitor was a bit poor at responding to my solicitor so the sales chaser was the go between. I lost count of how many emails we exchanged. She was always pleasant, polite, and professional. REMEMBER if you use one of the one line estate agents you have to do the sales negotiation yourself and ALL the chasing. In my case that would have been a nightmare, especially as I had a holiday booked the week prior to my move. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. However don't be afraid to keep in constant touch with your agents and solicitors. Oh yes I would use them again Stephenson Browne have handled property letting for me for almost a decade, gosh I feel old! They have always supplied an excellent service and back up, plus advice when needed. I have always chosen to manage my own properties, but they have supplied advice if needed. As to the reviews that say they withhold deposits. I have only had to retain a deposit once, and on that occasions the tenant, or rather ex tenant had left me with over £1,000 worth of repairs and redecoration to carry out. She was without a doubt the tenant who caused the most casual low level damage to any of my properties. She could not accept the chaos she had left behind. However the agent brokered a resolution and offered words of advice. In my opinion they would never encourage a landlord to withhold the deposit without due cause. I have recommended the agent to several of my friends who have also been very happy. A word of caution - Whenever I have people relate horror stories about renting out properties, the second thing they usually say after they have told me that it all went wrong, is that they didn't use an agent, and/or didn't have a contract. I have rented to friends and people I know, but have always used these agents and had a contract. When it comes to friends especially it is good to have the agents to provide a professional buffer. Even if you don't use these agents do have a contract and a letting agent

Throughout the long and drawn out sales process (our chain broke down) Margret kept us fully informed and is a true asset to the whole experience. Craig Whitney was also fully approachable throughout and I would have no hesitation to recommend them.
