GoogleAll staff are always polite & friendly, responsive on emails and support to chase up the chain etc. and help move things along. Very happy with the valuation agreed and the sale price that was secured. Marketing of the property was good and the fees seemed quite reasonable when compared with other local and regional agents.

GoogleIncredibly poor and incompetent service while renting, so much so I'm still annoyed now after buying a house a few years ago - they didn't have Google Reviews then and no surprise if my experience is typical. In short, while renting (looking to move out) we've had people come to view the property without us being informed beforehand (first we found out was a knock at the door). We were then informed of a viewing that never arrived. Calling Stephenson Brown we eventually discovered they had found a new tenant but didn't tell us and we were due to move out after a couple of weeks. Reluctantly we used Stephenson Brown again on another rental property. A neighbour (also with SB) complained about our noise (including such ridiculous complaints as walking up and down the stairs and flushing the toilet past 9pm). Rather than ask us about it we received a threatening email saying we were being monitored and any more complaints and things would be escalated. We asked to speak to someone and Stephen Bird came around. He was actually very nice and realised how petty the complaints were. That's just our experience but my partners dad had a house for sale which they had a buyer for. He received a call from SB to say the sale had fallen through only to find out they had the wrong house. I hope this branch has improved now and am glad we'll never have to use again.
We would like to apologise that your experience with Stephenson Browne a few years ago was not a positive one. We accept that at times mistakes are made by individuals but consider these rare. On occasions such as these, the cause of the problem is identified and further training is provided. We feel confident that this would have been addressed at the time and are happy to hear that Stephen Bird, our Director visited you personally to discuss. We pride ourselves in our levels of service, and the ongoing training provided by our Managers ensures that instances remain few and far between.

From the valuation right through to completion they were very efficient and constantly in communication. I also thought they were great value for money. Great customer service. GoogleI was very pleased with the service provided by the whole team. I called on a Monday to register the sale with them, by the following day we have many bookings to view the house, and by the following Monday we had an excellent offer. The Alsager branch are very organised and the process was straightforward and a pleasant experience from start to finish, for which I am grateful. Matthew Bass provided a very reasonable valuation, and created a beautiful sales brochure to represent the house well. Once a sale was agreed upon, Margret Caddy worked weekly with me, to keep me updated on the sale's progress. Answered numerous questions about finances amd position, and was told to expect a call back to arrange a viewing - couldn't arrange immediately because of Covid rules. No call received. House now listed online as having received asking price offer.

GoogleWe were not taken seriously and having children in the house we had a leaking boiler and mould developing in the house for over a year before we moved out and it was still not fixed oone of our children had ashtma and this was worsened by the mould in the downstairs toilet which was then unusable.to top this off agter we left thethe house spotless minus some weeding and a oven clean they tried to charge us 50% of our deposit for cleaning services. Wouldn't recommend as nothing was fixed in the 5 and half years we lived there. The landlord tried to fix rather than replace and left most stuff half working. DONT USE AND AVOID!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I also have a number of properties managed by the Lettings team. The team are outstanding, continually professional, knowledgable and are always going the extra mile. FacebookUnder the leadership of Jade Skelton her team have always gone the extra mile to ensure completion of the sale of our property at the asking price. All this in spite of COVID, the restrictions of the English conveyancing system ( as opposed to the slick Scots system) , and two last minute purchaser withdrawals in the chain. The motivated and professional team kept their cool when all about were losing theirs and gave confidence throughout the selling process . Communication was perfect and knowledge of the market place superb. They offer service par excellence . Well done !

They managed the whole process with a friendly and can do attitude, they always put my needs and concerns as a priority. Moving home is a difficult process but they made it almost enjoyable.
