GoogleTeresa at Staves Woodseats office helped enormously with our house purchase. She always kept us informed and did all she could to make the purchase proceed as smoothly and quickly as possible. GoogleUsed Staves to sell my Mums house to pay for her care. Overall I was very satisfied. Their fee for selling was very competitive, photos & communications excellent, they always phoned back when they said & Theresa particularly was excellent at guiding me through the process & keeping me updated in what ended up being a bit of a drawn out process which was mainly down to the buyers solicitor. The only slightly negative comment is that the house was a little overvalued which ended up being reflected in the offers that came through, but other than that I’d have no hesitation in using them again & recommending to others.

GoogleI dealt with Ben as a buyer of one of the properties that Staves was marketing. I found Ben to be an excellent communicator and always very responsive to phone calls and emails. He was very knowledgeable about processes, procedures and timescales and kept me constantly fully up-to-date with the status of my purchase; plus, he's very personable, which made the stressful matter of moving house, less so. He deserves a 5-star review. Certainly, as someone buying through Staves, I can highly recommend Ben.

GoogleRight from the valuation by Andy we knew that we’d be in good hands with Staves when selling our house. GoogleWe will definitely recommend Staves to friends and family in the future. Having both sold and bought through Staves - we had valuations from other agencies - the end to end service and experience was extremely warm and caring. Andy, who valued our property was warm and friendly, we came to a value that was good for us, suited the area and market. Then the team in the office from Rob and Ben to Teresa, Gail and Teagan, always being on hand to answer queries and pass on messages to Ben where required. The whole team made what was a stressful journey and broke down any barriers we encountered, helping us understand what was required each step of the way, right through to completion. If ever we look to move again, we would look to Staves as our first port of call.

GoogleThe more I think about this the more annoyed I get!!! I have cash waiting to buy a red squirrel property yet their customer service is NONEXISTENT. I’m surprised they can actually sell a house!! At this rate she u feel sorry for the sellers who chose and are being failed by them. I made a viewing appointment for them to try and cancel same day. The guy didn’t know anything about the house or lease rent service charge amount so I (capitals) had yo chase THEM 3 times! Each time saying they will get back to me. Ollie then called “we wondered where you were at with the property” UH HELLO! I’m waiting for you, I said I was quite annoyed 3 days had passed and no update was given - he said he had the information for me but he infact didn’t! Again bring told I’ll get a call back 3 weeks and I’m still waiting! It’s not even like it’s a fast time for property so sort it out guys. And apologies to your seller on the property and their next update for losing a sale.

GoogleExtremely happy with the professionalism and the speed of the process, the estate agents kept me fully up to date with different stages of the purchase both through emails and over the phone. I was first time buyers. Everything went very smoothly and I felt very comfortable and at ease with the agent. What made it even better with Staves is that my offer was accepted and it stayed that way throughout. Whilst I had other estate agents letting me down twice even after accepting the offer. So highly recommend Staves, Thanks for the team for getting me over the line in such a short time frame.

It was more of an epic saga: twists, delays, external forces beyond control, and moments where hope briefly packed a bag and threatened to leave. Enter Staves, and more importantly, Gail. Our calm in the chaos, our steady narrator, and frankly, a hero. While the journey itself was difficult (through absolutely no fault of anyone involved), Gail went well beyond the call of duty. She was proactive, reassuring, relentlessly patient, and unfailingly human. When progress stalled, she chased. When things became unclear, she clarified. When spirits dipped, she lifted them, usually with good humour and absolute professionalism. Against the odds, through sheer persistence and care, Gail helped steer us all the way to exchange and completion. No false promises. Just genuine commitment and tireless support. If you want an estate agent who treats your sale like more than just a transaction, Staves (and Gail in particular) are the people you want in your corner. A difficult journey, yes. But thanks to Gail, one with a genuinely happy ending. Highly recommended.
