I contacted staves & 2 other local estate agents in the area to value my property & another property I was helping sell. James Staves came out to visit the property, first of all James came across personable & professional. He didn’t come across as though this was “just another house” that Staves were going to sell. They gave a good valuation for the house, not too high that it would be sat on the market for months & not to low that we were getting an unfair amount. There fee was fair for selling the house and it is really handy that they have people to do the EPC etc. The photographer was great and we got really good marketing pictures for the house. The house was on all major selling sites. We had lots of viewings and offers on a house in Dronfield and we were able to get full asking price for the house due to there knowledge of the area. We completed this house in around 8 weeks from Staves putting it on the market. James and his team also helped me sell my first house in New Whittington. Again, this was a very professional service we had offers above asking within a day of it been on the market with a bit of a bidding war happening. The team supported me with anything I asked of them and couldn’t have been more helpful. I love the family feel of this business and if I was to ever sell again, I would be using Staves. I have been recommending them to family & friends looking at getting houses on the market. Again thank you for all your support, Everyone in the Dronfield Staves office have been fabulous.

Having to sell our parents property was something we were dreading. We spoke with several local Agents and Staves gave us the most confidence in the way they would look after us throughout the selling process and in how they would market the property. We were delighted with the sales particulars and the speed in which they marketed the property. As we lived away from the property, we were pleased Staves were happy to accompany potentail buyers on their viewings. Sadly we had to remove the property from the market for a time due to probate, but Staves assured us they would keep potential buyers informed. Before it officially came back onto the market, Staves had found a buyer able to proceed with the puchase and the sale went through within 2 months. Throughout the process we felt well advised and supported, with particular thanks to Leanne for all her hard work.

We recently sold our deceased mother’s bungalow though Staves, which process had a very bumpy and traumatic ride through the Covid period. Throughout the sale we received nothing but great support, understanding and patience from the staff. Rebecca was our lead contact, and was always polite and professional. We were prospective first time buyers for a property listed under Staves. When we first viewed the property we were limited to 10minutes of viewing time as the agent who knew none of the answers to our simple questions regarding the property, was in a rush to leave. We then proceeded to place an offer at a reasonable amount more than the asking price exceeding several other offers. Proceedings then went on to best and final offers which were delayed 3 times until we came to realise that the property had now been relisted at an increased asking price (our initial offer) under no notification to us. This resulted in further viewings commencing once our final offer had been submitted. Overall the attitude of all staff concerned seemed to be much in the favour of the seller with no consideration for the buyer.
