GoogleReally professional and friendly service from Stack and Bonner in the recent sale of my mother‘s house. Chris was completely on top of everything - and kept me on top of everything too! A really friendly team with a shout out to Jane, Andy and Nick who were also professional friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again!

GoogleI highly recommend Stack and Bonner if you’re looking to buy a house! We bought our very first home through Stack and Bonner, and as first-time buyers, we had no idea how to navigate the process. Chris gave us excellent guidance throughout and was always very prompt with his follow-ups and responses. It was a long journey, but everything went smoothly with the help and support we received from Stack and Bonner. We’re very grateful to Chris for making the whole experience much easier and less stressful. Thank you, Chris and the Stack and Bonner team!

GoogleOur initial conversations with Chris were very positive. However, once the price was agreed and we decided to proceed, our experience changed considerably. We were passed over to Andy, who recommended his solicitor to the seller, which in our experience contributed to the process being delayed by several weeks. We then faced further uncertainty regarding the shape and extent of the land, including being informed that what we were purchasing appeared to differ from the Land Registry documents. Naturally, this led to further questions and discussions from our side. Unfortunately, during one of these conversations, Andy became extremely rude and made comments that I would not wish any buyer to hear. Purchasing a home is already an emotional and stressful process, and I would expect an estate agent to understand that and communicate with buyers professionally and respectfully, particularly when there are genuine concerns about what is actually being purchased. The only reason we continued with the purchase was because we had built a very good relationship directly with the seller. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this estate agent unless you have very limited alternatives.
Dear Nish I’m of course very disappointed by your “review” but I’d like to respond. You agreed to buy a property with Stack and Bonner. When your solicitor received the conveyancing pack, this included an old plan by mistake, showing that there was many years ago, a part of next doors garden belonging to the property you were buying. Our property particulars were accurate, at no time were you given the impression that you would be given any “free land”. Despite this fact, you repeatedly pestered our client to give you this land for free, knocking on his door repeatedly without invitation or regard to appropriate behaviour. You would also never accept my confirmation that it was just “ solicitor error”. You make reference to my rudeness, all I can think you are referring to, is when after being told repeatedly ( by both myself and the owner oh so many times …) you cannot have your neighbours land for free, I jokingly said: “ can you give me your car, I won’t pay for it, but it isn’t a free car - in the same way that you won’t accept that you’re asking for free land” My actions were fully condoned by the owner, for whom I act and whose interests I represent. I believe, as do my colleagues for whom as the owner of the company, I am obliged to set an example for, that I acted very politely and with great courtesy at all times. Sometimes the answer is just no when you make a totally unreasonable request repeatedly, I’m so sorry you’re unable to accept this. This is the first negative google review our sales team have ever received, so I’ll let any readers decide if we acted appropriately.

GoogleWe had an excellent experience with Stack & Bonner from start to finish. One of the key reasons we chose them was their location outside of Chessington, which gave them access to a wider pool of buyers than some of the other local agents. When Chris first came to value our house, he didn't just provide a valuation. He took the time to suggest practical ways to make the property more attractive to buyers and shared some excellent tips on how to maximise its appeal before marketing. His advice was invaluable. Once we instructed Stack & Bonner, the whole process was smooth and efficient. They carefully advised on the best timing for marketing the property and recommended how long to advertise before holding an open day. Because we were moving out of the area, it was important for us to have a concentrated viewing period so that we could spend the weekend viewing properties ourselves. Stack & Bonner organised everything perfectly, ensuring the house was available for viewings throughout the weekend. The result was fantastic. The property sold within a week and achieved a great price. While the sale took longer than expected to complete due to a lengthy chain, Chris remained proactive throughout and was particularly instrumental towards the end in helping to keep things moving and bringing the transaction to a successful conclusion. We would highly recommend Chris and the Stack & Bonner team to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and highly supportive estate agent.

GoogleI initially engaged another local estate agent to sell my home of 22 years and had a very difficult experience and I took my property off the market. Then a friend recommended Chris Slawson at Stack & Bonner- what a breath of fresh air. Chris was honest, kind, realistic and I always felt he was looking out for me. He made what had been a very stressful experience, manageable and the sale was agreed quickly smoothly. I also spoke to Andy Pollard (MD) and received the same courteous service. If you go into their office all of the staff and friendly and helpful - a wonderful company ethos. I would recommend Chris / Stack & Bonner to everyone - they are now selling a property for my grandson. I am now in my new home, so a big thank you to Chris and the team

GoogleWe had been searching for a property for my parents with a very specific criteria and had near enough given up hope. However, Yasmin from S&B took us under her wing and showed us an incredible flat which we went on to purchase successfully. There was nothing simple about this transaction and yet Yasmin and the team expertly held our hands with clear communication throughout. Her sunny disposition and genuine care and enthusiasm made all the difference to us as a family going through some quite difficult personal challenges at the same time. If I could give Yasmin 6 stars for help then I would! Highly recommend!

GoogleAbsolutely fabulous service from Chris (and Andy). They actually weren't my agents, but agents for the property I was buying and they were extremely friendly and personable. When I (eventually) go to sell my property I will be hiring them as they went above and beyond throughout the whole process Even letting me into the house on completion day even though funds hadn't been sent through yet. Chris has a lovely and friendly personality and would highly recommend him.

GoogleStack&Bonner introduced several good quality interested buyers for part of my moorings promenade (an unusual type of sale!). In the end a fair offer was made and concluded for the whole promenade by an excellent buyer. The assigned agent, Chris Slawson, was especially good at advising me, keeping me informed of progress and following up with the solicitors and other parties involved to get the deal over the line in a timely fashion. Highly recommended and I am looking to do more business with them soon.

They're not just the best locally, they are head and shoulders above all other agents I've come across. Chris and his team are a very tidy outfit - they managed my sale (which wasn’t easy) with a level of professionalism I haven’t experienced before - he steered the whole process calmly, politely and got the best result for me and my family. His team are friendly, positive and above all knowledgeable - they know how to sell a property and give it 110% every time. GoogleTerrible experience with this agency. They were not helpful at all and the process took so long, hard to contact them. We ended up not getting our deposit back.
Hi Benjamin, you have never let through us. Please remove this as it is completely inaccurate. If you were a true client, you would know our deposits are held with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and not the agency directly.
