Although not dealing directly with Sarah Mains in Gateshead, we did seek out the services of there in house independent mortgage advisor Thelma Bell. We used her five years ago and got a great deal, so sought her out, and yet again, she did a great job. Cannot recommend her highly enough, cannot fault anything, explained everything very clearly, everything is now set up, and no hidden charges. Will be returning to her in the future. Over the last 5 years, I have dealt with 6 different estate agents and I can say without doubt that the team at Sarah Mains, Low Fell Branch are by far the best I have encountered. Our mortgage advisor was Thelma Bell who has an office based within Sarah Mains. We couldn’t have chosen a better person to help my partner and I buy our first home together. As first time buyers we really didn’t have a clue! Thelma made everything seem so easy and explained everything as much as she could, even if it was 10 times over! She was so patient with us and would reply to our worried texts literally any time. She has been an absolute diamond during the house hunting and buying process (which was 10 month!) and couldn’t recommend her more. The girls in the sales progression team were also fab, ringing whenever there was ANY update with the progress of the sale. Thank you!

Sarah Mains were supposed to be managing our property while we were abroad. They failed to find new tenants for the property and didn't provide any communication with us despite promising 'weekly updates' in their contract with us. This meant I had to chase them whilst abroad and our property was left sitting empty for two months because of this. Would NOT recommend to any landlord. Within weeks of changing rental agent they had found us a great new tenant and were proactively contacting us.
