Dawn Melling, Donna Rowell and Chris Huddleston made the experience absolutely seamless throughout, providing excellent support and highly efficient communication, complimented perfectly by swift financial advice from Dawn Whiffing. After a superbly organised open day we received multiple offers, enabling us to find a buyer suited to our needs and personal circumstances. Having sold our previous house with the Low Fell branch we had no reservations in using them again and we weren't disappointed. GoogleSuch a poor Experience I had, I will NEVER use Sarah Mains again, Sarah Mains dealt with both sales and purchase of my properties and from the first day I had nothing but issues, consisting on contacting my ex-partner to give her sensitive details she should not of been made aware of by “mistake”, Serious Data protection failures by sending all my bank details to a property I didn’t live at, Promised call backs from mangers that have never happened, Promise refunds in 24 hours that took 3 weeks to be credited back, after agreeing a mortgage to buy the new property and arranging a further viewing being contacted the day after to ask how I was planning on buying this ? And if I’d like to put an offer in (on the property id already arranged to buy), completing my agreement in principle for me and putting incorrect address on this form. Failing to tie the sale and purchase dates together which nearly resulted in my selling my home and not having anywhere else to go to. Contacting numerous agents who didn’t know what their complaint process was, after 3 months and solicitors involved eventually getting the compliant raised and closed and this was only due to contacting director of company. Appalling Unprofessional company, I will never ever return
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We of course, were aware of your concerns which you communicated with us back in October, 2016. At that time a member of staff did contact your wife, as she was a joint owner of the property, to discuss marketing. Your original concerns made no mention of any “sensitive” data being released to an ex-partner. The timescale of the refund was explained to you at the time by the person who would authorise the payment. We as the Estate Agent have no control or involvement over completion dates for property sales and purchases, that is left to the legal representatives acting for each party. At Sarah Mains Residential the Directors are involved in all aspects of the business and they were very much aware of your complaint although you did not actually contact them directly. We did address all of the issues you raised at the time as well as making an offer to you, which you accepted, as a full resolution of your complaint. It is not the case that solicitors were involved in this process.

GoogleMy family have just had an excellent experience from start to finish when dealing with the customer care team at Sarah Mains Low Fell Office. Helen Knight was our main contact and was even available to go through our criteria with us on a Sunday afternoon. I used to work in this industry and must says its been refreshing to deal with an agency who pay such close attention to your needs. I was really appreciative of the professionalism of the surveyor Dawn she was very friendly and gave helpful advice as to how to make our home more sellible.
