GoogleI love their flexibility, the virtual viewing of the property was very explicit and I became interested in the property without a physical viewing. The speedy response was another feature associated with Sarah Mains. They were willing to listen, and very helpful. I am very pleased with their service.

GoogleI have just moved to Newcastle from India and was finding it very difficult to rent a place given the current state of housing crisis. However, Elliot has been great to help me find a suitable place to rent, he was very patient and conveyed everything with empathy. Sarah Mains also has an option for virtual viewing which made it easy for me to decide and make an application quickly. Everything was smooth, except for a few hiccups: - When relocating from another country, it is hard to make a payment via bank transfer that will reflect 'immediately' in your account given most international bank transfers take at least 24 hours to do so - it'd be great if Sarah Mains can consider any alternative payment methods like PayPal for people like me, because not all the time can you borrow from colleagues/leave work and visit the office to pay. - While my guarantor's verification was underway by rent4sure, there have been some delays due to the link being expired/the emails going to spam etc. Also rent4sure does not tell you what documents are exactly needed/accepted at the beginning, they keep asking for alternatives/something more - which is a bit taxing to find and fetch. I get it that it is part of the process, but it is not very helpful when you receive a very intimidating email first thing in the morning from Sarah Mains' Tenancy Manager that if the assessment has not been finalised and if I don't collect the keys by 5pm that day, my application would be cancelled - this email was quite upsetting and terrifying to be honest. I thought it was just me who found this email alarming, but my guarantor/my colleagues/my friends at work too found it quite aggressive. It would be great if Sarah Mains or their agency rent4sure could've considered and given enough time/heads up of the required documents beforehand, especially for someone who has moved to a totally new country with very few known faces in the UK. - However, they did accelerate my application and got me my place but just a little bit more of consideration and empathy would've been great.

As with any rental property there have been a few issues to sort out but the response from Elliott and Phil has been spot on. I have had my problems resolved very quickly and professional. GoogleAimee came this afternoon to give us a market valuation and talk us through the process of selling our house. She also arranged for Amanda to come and photograph/ video the same afternoon. We were very impressed by her knowledge and professionalism and actually decided to cancel the second estate agent due to call that afternoon and go with Sarah Mains. Hopefully I can place a second review following a successful sale.

GoogleSarah Mains have been a pleasure to work with. The photos and videos they did of my house were absolutely stunning, I’m so happy with how they turned out. The office is also very friendly to contact, Andrew and Donna can never do enough for me and they are both genuinely nice people, I would definitely go to sarah mains again on my next move whenever that may be. GoogleI bought my house over 10 years ago via Sarah Mains and I sold it last month with them again. Both times they were friendly, efficient and professional. I really can't fault them. I sold my house in the UK while living abroad and I thought that would make things complicated but the staff at Sarah Mains gave me great advice and made it as easy as possible for me. GoogleSelling a house can be stressful especially when you're selling for sad reasons. When Dawn Melling came out to value the property she really understood what the bungalow meant to my dad. This was then put on the market and Chris Huddleston took over to arrange viewings. I was well informed about what was happening but not overwhelmed with too many phone calls. This is not the first time I have used Sarah Mains and both times I was impressed with the work ethic of the whole team. I would like to say a big thank you to them all for their hard work.
