Worst student agency

Beware! Stay far far away from Sandersons in Kent as a student letting a company. They will lure you in with "discounts" and then after tying you into a contract, they will bombard you with hidden payments and then punish you with late fees and fines without mercy after carefully crafted (really confusing) payment dates to make up for their "discounts" and more.

They have always been prompt in responding to me (or my family) with any problems or queries that have arisen and handled any situation diligently and attentively. I have been using Sanderson's to look for rentals for a few years now, and am still delighted with their excellence in knowing the area and accommodating and listening to my varied requests. I have used Sandersons to let my flat on a number of occasions. In contrast to some of the better-known agents I have worked with previously, Noel and his team have been proactive, helpful, realistic and have continually kept me updated on progress. Critically, they have always tried to understand what type of tenant I was looking for rather than proposing the first applicant who walks into their office. Further to that their administrative team is excellent and quick to respond to any queries. I would definitely recommend Sandersons to other owners looking to rent their properties in West London.

The difference between this agent and a number in the area I found, is the personal service provided. They take time to get to know you are your requirements, rather than just trying to sell you anything which I’ve experienced in the past. I tried calling several times for valuation to be done, someone with a foreign accent took my details and I still haven't heard back... My husband has also tried to book a viewing for a new apartment which came online. Always having trouble getting us in and always with a exotic excuse- I think the listing doesn't even exist! Terrible service won't bother calling them again.

I asked Sandersons to advise on rent for my flat, a 5 minute walk from their office, with a view to them acting as letting agent. After 6 days they had not picked up the keys which were available on the way to the flat. Two calls to the man I dealt with were disregarded, as was a call to the senior person in the office. I would not seek to use them again.
