We cant thank Steve enough for the help that we have received so far in purchasing our new home in Euxton. This man has gone out of his way to make sure that we get the answers that we need. He has personally given to us details of people that can help with carpets/ blinds etc. and we are always welcomed with a smile. I'm in sales myself and have been for over 20 + years so i tend to look out for the things that you wouldn't normally get... the above and beyond... and this guy has genuinely done that for us to date. Highly recommend the service and The Steve :-)

We bought a new ‘Bridgeport’ house and it’s excellent. They asked us for a snagging list and there were ONLY THREE FAULTS we could find. They were sorted in a couple of hours. We would certainly recommend Roland Homes.

GoogleWe made a huge mistake by buying a Rowland Home in Ulverston. Worst builder and worst customer care we have experienced in 20 years of buying new houses. It makes you feel Its just all about getting the monies into the fat cats, at the top, bank accounts, rather than what it should be " the customers journey moving into a quality build home with care and understanding". Houses are damp, water pouring in, absolutely shocking dangerous illegal electrical work where our own sockets werent earthed and appauling brickwork,tiling and non existent sympathetic landscaping. No customer care to correct mistakes( not even seen them) as no trades available.

I have never left a Trustpilot review before but I am now at the end of my tether. Well over a year & I still have a growing & extensive snagging list. The tradesmen used to build the house have paid absolutely no attention to detail to even basic building work with slap dash finishing inside & out. Trying to get Rowland Homes to schedule any work to be done is a constant battle with excuse after excuse from onsite staff. Not only have we had numerous replacement site managers who mostly have shown little to no interest at all, we now have an on site customer care manager who has so far shown the same level of interest as the rest. Complete chaos, no shows, no communication, no action. Constantly having to chase for updates & being fobbed off.As for the Customer Care team at head office, there is no proactive support or assistance from them to try to get things completed. What should have been a lovely new home continues to be a complete disappointment & I see no end to it. The time spent trying to get the builders to do what is merely their job & to a good standard is a constant frustration & I would not recommend Rowland homes to anyone.

Moving into our new home has been a pleasurable experience, largely due to the outstanding service we received from Rowland Homes throughout the entire process. Stephen is an exemplary, caring, and friendly professional sales executive nothing is to much trouble..... he has a strong interpersonal and communication skills, his products knowledge is exceptional. He is always on hand to answer any questions we may have. He is a credit to Rowland Home. Our house is beautiful finished to the highest standard.We are great full for the professionalism attentiveness and genuine care shown by the Rowland team. After living on Jubilee Gardens for the last 9 months I can honestly say that everything has been great with the house. We have had no issues since our snags were dealt with as soon as we moved in. Steven in the site office has always been on hand, helpful and very knowledgeable if we have had to ask any questions. We also love the area of Euxton which has great facilities, local transport and supermarkets with easy access whilst still having a village feel.

TrustpilotQuality of House Build Poor
Initially the team were super helpful until faults and major issues were identified with the house. I have had a major leak in the downstairs cloakroom and garage for nearly 18 months. The Head Office Customer care team have been super helpful but the on site management team have been glacial in their actions and communication has been less than poor as a standard with excuse after excuse. Would I now on reflection buy a Rowland Home and recommend, the answer would be no. The Sales team are economical in there transparency of maintenance charges and once the transaction is complete wash there hands of anything and handover to the site team which has management and contractors change almost monthly and my home has been no more than a building site for nearly 4 months with the management team walking past it daily. Contractors are changed due to bad practices and "sacked" regularly this is hardly a good practice and more importantly not what you would wish for the home you would want to invest in. I would highly recommend anyone purchasing to invest in a independent survey for piece of mind as the smoke and mirrors you will be given on site will be economical with the truth at best and will change depending on who you speak to.

The staff (mostly Jordan) were kind, polite, welcoming and altogether patient with us Although our reservation fell through it was the kindest a development/estate agent has been to us in our year and a half of looking The only wish I have is that I could of spent more time with their lovely and caring team at Ulverston Many thanks again
