We recently purchased an apartment in Eccles, via Reeds Rains, Salford Quays. For various reasons (nothing to do with Reeds Rains), the purchase took over 9 months to complete. Throughout this time Laura was extremely helpful, both in enabling us to visit the property on several occasions, and also in chasing up the seller, when it seemed that both sets of solicitors were just letting things slip. Without her help, I can't help thinking the process would have taken more than 9 months.

Reeds Rains Manchester City Center - I have had the worst experience this past month for a letting in Manchester. We were interested in an early offer for an apartment in Manchester, which our friends currently lived in. Sid's tone was extremely rude at all instances I have interacted with him, and he was uninterested to help us at all. We have been lead on for a month, and he was always coming back with news that was never in our favour. As an agent interacting with a potential customer, I would expect proactiveness, which I did not receive at all from Sid. I am extremely disappointed in this entire experience, and felt offended the way he spoke to me.
Firstly I am sorry you’ve needed to leave this review. I’ve spoken to Sid about this incident and he was keen to apologise if he came across as rude in any way as this wasn’t his intention at any stage. I understand you made an offer on a property that your friends will be vacating shortly, however the landlord decided he felt he could achieve a higher rent than the amount you have offered and therefore he declined your offer after careful consideration. I appreciate it can be frustrating when an offer is not accepted but ultimately it is the landlords decision whether to accept an offer and not ours as the agent. Ted showed us around a property yesterday. I was shocked how much knowledge he had of the area and even the street! He was very helpful and approachable and a credit to your team.

We were in need of placing tenants in our property pretty quickly after a lengthy process after the renovation.Reed Rains followed up with all our questions and concerns promptly and efficiently. They were always on the other end of the phone / email.They have an extremely professional service with viewings; we were always notifyed whenever bookings were taking place.It can be overwhelming to understand the process but everything was explained at each stage and step, with consideration and in depth knowledge of the market.Reed Rains gave us an accurate valuation for the property and did their best to get as close to the original valuation as possible.Highly recommend.

I have used Reeds Rains to manage the letting of a property I have owned for a number of years and have always been delighted with the service which all the team provide, under Helen's leadership. When I decided to sell the property I used Reeds Rains for this too and, again, the service was totally professional and consistently excellent from Joe, Lauren and Donna. It's very clear that there is a very strong customer focus combined with a high degree of professionalism within Reeds Rains, or at least in Preston, which makes them a pleasure to deal with.

TrustpilotToo under resourced to provide a reasonable service
Process started well but then fell apart with no management engagement around issues. A key factor for us at the outset was the ability of the agent to show people around the property. However after just a few weeks the 3 person office was down to just one (manager on two week holiday and one person had quit). Unsurprisingly the office could not function as an agency should. We were given no advance warning of the resourcing squeeze. Further we had very poor communication and follow up around an expression of interest, which died a death during the resource squeeze.

When having a look for a first time home, me & my partner were a bit lost, trying to think of what all our outgoings, new build or old build & were I would stand with gaining a new job, We were put through to Peter & he made us so comfortable straight away and went through everything step by step and spent time making sure we would know everything before buying a house. What should we do and what shouldn’t we do. Eg what’s negative to a bank on a bank statement/ credit cards ect, He made sure we understood and how to improve this to get more lenders to accept, Peter made sure we understood that not many banks would lend as I had a career change and once my probation period is over I would have a lot more chance. We have decided to wait abit longer and get back in touch with Peter when we are ready to buy, hopefully end of summer. We didn’t feel pushed or rushed, & he advised us if we saved a bit more the price of our house can increase so we would have more choice, overall Peter was super helpful, and we can’t wait to work with him, and for him to help us buy our first home come this autumn 😊Thanks Larisse

We live 350 miles away and they took care of everything: the viewings, valuation etc and kept me constantly informed. I can't recommended them highly enough. We recently had a great experience purchasing our new home with the ladies at the Bamber Bridge branch. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, and made every effort to ensure the purchase moved quickly and smoothly. Alison and Donna in particular were fabulous, and the lady who showed us around the property (who's name unfortunately escapes me) was also lovely to deal with. The ladies here are obviously very caring and passionate about their roles, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I might also add that Donna in particular deserves a 'shout out' as although she does not appear to be as visible and front of house as the other ladies, she was the one who put in the majority of the groundwork, and ensured that any concerns were quckly dealt with/resolved, and all the legal arrangements and requirements were completed at the speed of light. Fantastic people to deal with, and as mentioned previously, I could not recommend highly enough. A big thank you to everyone involved.
