Matt Corrall is one of the friendliest and most sincere estate agents you could hope to meet, plus his knowledge of properties in Warwickshire is brilliant. Unwilling to carry out a viewing ‘in the current circumstances’ unless a prospective buyer is already sold. If every agent did this then no one could possibly sell and the market would stagnate. Their response. “We’ve never been so busy”. The current situation is not likely to change in the next six months. Covid is here to stay and the good estate agents are working with their clients to minimise the risks, carry out safe viewings at no risk to the vendor and earning their % rather than sitting in the office and rubbing their hands together. Speaks volumes. Vendors beware you won’t get many viewings!!
I am sorry to read of your experience with Peter Clarke & Co but we do still stand by the procedures we have in place during this pandemic. We are operating in very challenging times and the safety of our staff and clients are an utmost priority. As such, with our clients agreement we are only allowing viewings with proceedable parties to minimise risk. With the stamp duty changes in place as well, the market is showing a significant increase and therefore we are carrying out a full diary of viewings with proceedable parties and are not seeing a reduction in numbers as you may expect. I understand your frustrations but with such a significant upturn in the market we are finding that the market is still moving significantly and as such we don't currently run the risk of the market going stagnant. Our procedures are regularly reviewed and we will adapt as and when the market dictates the need to.

Would not recommend, staff left and nobody was picking up his emails! No contact and no updates unless I chased for information. Not even advised keys available for collection and a month since purchasing and we even had to chase to ask if did hold a key!
I am sorry to read of your experience with Peter Clarke & Co and can only apologise that you feel you have not received good service. Unfortunately due to the Global Pandemic and being in National Lockdown the majority of our staff were on Furlough leaving only a couple of members of staff having to look after our 6 offices remotely as all offices were closed. On completion of purchasing a property your Solicitor will advise that you are able to collect the keys from the selling Agents. Whilst our offices were closed, our phone lines remained very much live and therefore you would have been able to arrange key collection. As you had been liaising directly with the Vendor, we understand that you collected keys directly from them.

If you would like to rent out a property to a squat or a drug den... then these are the agents for you! Doesn’t matter how much you complain... call the police... they literally don’t care. Money is all they think about. Not surrounding businesses, neighbours... as long as they get their commission the property is yours. Not forgetting in the middle of the global pandemic, they gave permission to gardeners to enter though the front of my property and climb over my wall. As a shielded person myself, quite frankly I’m shocked they would recommend people to enter my property without consent, without thought, without care. Clearly this company conduct their business following no government guidelines. And have unscrupulous morals.

We used the local branch for our recent house sale in Wellesbourne and what a lovely team they are. Our property negotiator Viv acted very professionally at all times and was very patient when dealing with any queries we had. She also kept us informed every step of the way even though we had some long delays due to Covid-19. Mark the branch manager was great for chatting with, nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn’t hesitate in using this Company again should the need arise in the future.

GoogleDuring quite a stressful time Peter Clarke in Stratford upon Avon, made my whole moving experience extremely easy and efficient. I greatly appreciated the help of Josh, Karen and Barney in particular in helping me view and move to a lovely house during a pandemic. Everyone was professional, helpful and the communication was excellent, I would highly recommend them.

GoogleI have no hesitation whatsoever in strongly recommending the Stratford-upon-Avon team of Peter Clarke & Co. From my first contacts to seek their views on market value and sales approach, through to exchange of contracts, they have been superb. Infinitely better at the 'first meeting' stage than any of the other 3 firms interviewed. Camilla Smith provided me with excellent advice and care about marketing and showing my property; taking into account my personal circumstances. Her expertise, and that of her colleagues, shone through when it came to reviewing offers from potential buyers. The whole team have been extremely attentive and professional throughout the process of my sale. Melanie provided me with great support during progression of my sale. I simply cannot fault this estate agent for any aspect of their operation. Communications were prompt, clear, and friendly. This was my first house sale in over 25 years and the Peter Clarke team supported me thorough it in a way for which I shall always be grateful.

I have rented a property from here for nearly 4 years now and from the first call I made to them to view a property to everything since has been handled with utmost professionalism and with great care and sensitivity. Problems in the house are rare but if they do occur Peter Clarke have acted quickly and efficiently - I feel that they have a strong duty of care towards their customers and very good customer focus. GoogleAvoid avoid avoid. Peter Clarke were chosen for me by the builder of my onward purchase as part of a part exchange agreement. Theybwere arrogant and rude from the outset, which as the vendor, surprised me. They asked me to fill in lots of forms with quite detailed information about the property and my accounts, but that it was just "for their file". The front of the form said otherwise, stating that it would be shared with all prospective buyers! I queried which it was, and asked for the contact details of the data protection officer twice, but my requests just went ignored, so I refused to fill in the forms. Then I started getting bookings for viewings. I had to be at home for these as they didn't yet have a spare key. We booked in a total of 3 viewings which never showed up. The agents didn't turn up either so it was clear they had been cancelled and they didn't have the decency to tell me before hand. By the fourth viewing, I called up the morning of the booking to check they were still coming, only to be told they have "literally just emailed in to cancel". Believe that if you will! If this is how they treat the vendors who pay their bills, I would hate to think how they would treat other clients....
