COULD IMPROVE ON BUYER INTERACTIONS ETC

Regrettably we had to pull out of a sale, which Peter Clarke were marketing. To not waffle on, we were firstly surprised that buyers are potentially just a thing, or a number, call it what you will. We had approximately 20 emails from a member of staff ( unfair to mention names) and not once were we addressed by our names, although our responses were always addressed kindly to that persons name. Also I feel when you have purchasers, who have already had their offer accepted, and had a survey on a property, and they want to revisit the property to measure up etc, they should have longer than 45 minutes to do this ( we were never made aware of this time limit at any time).Especially, like us , who had travelled four hours, had to stay overnight in Stratford, and not even been made aware of this rule.We met the lady from Peter Clarke at 10.30am. After getting ourselves acquainted with the garden, greenhouse, outbuildings, and annexe, we then went inside to start measuring up.Then all of a sudden the lady (no names) shouted to us “seven minutes left!”That apparently was all we had left to measure up a£745,000 property! It also didn’t help us, as the vendor refused to see us to discuss the findings of the survey. Basically Peter Clarke and the vendor pushed us away from this purchase. Sad really, but I hope this review helps Peter Clarke’s employees,and review of company policies at their next staff meeting help them immensely. We just literally felt pushed away from our dream cottage.

What a shame I have seen a property i like in Stratford-upon-avon went to Peter Clarks in Stratford upon Avon and was told unless I have sold my property or at least sold it subject to contract they would not show me the property that I came down to have a look at so disappointed How can you possibly know if you like a property without seeing it (it’s not like you can just walk past it. It’s in a gated area) maybe another estate agents will be a better way to go Madness

My experience of this Company is comprised solely of my dealings with Sara Jordan (Branch Manager of their Leamington office) and Pav Hayer (Company Negotiator, of that same office), both of whom were instrumental in bringing to a successful Completion the sale of my late father‘s property, a few weeks ago. As many companies transition to automated and AI driven customer service models it is wonderful to find a business that still operates through direct personal contact, understanding its customer's needs and going above and beyond to meet these. From initial consultation, through to celebratory completion phone calls Camilla Smith managed my sale in exemplary fashion. Despite many difficult issues arising in the inevitable chain of sales downstream Camilla was able to offer pragmatic solutions, broker agreements and actions, and most importantly take the lead in chasing and following up both solicitors and agents down the line. Without this level of engagement I am certain the deal would have collapsed. Outstanding in every way, I cannot recommend Peter Clarke and especially Camilla enough.
