Promised us they would fix the major issues wrong with the house. Had a contract stating they would fix them and yet they didnt fix one thing. Over charged for the run down house that was basically falling apart. We only took it as we were desperate. The minute we said we were moving out they started to fix some of the problems. We were also left without heat over the new year. It took them over a week to even get someone to look at the problem. Would recommend to avoid at all costs

Totally agree with Andrew Gills post. Would not recommend using this company at all. They lie continuously and try to rip you off. Keep your wits about you with these slippery characters or you'll be out of pocket. And that's the nicest thing I can say about them.

Hi Jo, obviously disappointed with your comments. However, as always in these cases there are usually two sides to the story and our memory of your situation despite it being back in 2015 is still quite fresh. As I knew you I persuaded the landlord of your proposed rental property to allow your dog, a favour or so I thought. You then went on to break your rental agreement 1 month early, you should have paid the landlord's early re-let fee but denied all knowledge, leaving the landlord £550 out of pocket. Lessons learned all round and as such I would suggest your tenancy was far from ideal. Regards Julian Ferrier

We have just sold our house using Pearson Ferrier on Bridge Street Ramsbottom, and will recommend them to friends and family. Leah went that extra mile to keep my wife and I updated with the progress, and all the staff in the Bridge Street office were friendly and helpful. Thank you all and keep up the good work. Andy & Donna.

Excellent Service

Iain was outstanding during the sale of our property. Nothing was too much for him. We were in constant contact and he kept us informed at every stage of the process. He always got back to us if we contacted him. He went above and beyond when we had issues. Could not recommend highly enough and would 100% use his services again.

Qualified my needs and listened to me - a stark difference from most estate agents

I have dealt with Leah & Stuart from the Prestwich branch and i have found them to be nothing but amazing. Every other Estate agent seemed like i has disturbed their crossword puzzle when i was asking questions and trying to qualify myself and explain what i was searching for. Until i spoke to Leah, i had not had a decent conversation - Leah listened and suggested a property not yet on the market. We have had our offer accepted. Refreshing to speak to an estate agent where they are genuinely interested in the sales process.

SELLERS BEWARE!

Only ever used this company as a potential buyer. Contacted them to view a property which had only just come on the market, was told seller was considering an offer and wouldn't let me view. After I week it was still showing as for sale so I called them again, this time they said I could view so I made an appointment. The day before I was due to view I noticed on right move that it was sold, I contacted them and they confirmed this. I pointed out to them that nobody had enquired what my position was and as a cash buyer I believe this should have been passed on to the seller who could then decide themselves. They informed me that the buyer was a cash buyer too. In my opinion the seller should be informed of all interest and afforded the opportunity to accept other offers. In my opinion this company have not acted in the best interest of the seller and as such I will avoid them when buying or selling in the future.

Brilliant service & attitude from the …

Brilliant service & attitude from the branch in Ashton-under-Lyne from the very first meeting to sell our house. We were so impressed with the service we also asked them to help find us a property, which they achieved very quickly. Regular updates were provided & they worked with our solicitors to manage the process, becoming a trusted conduit making sure the other parties did their bit - which really was needed too! Incredibly honest every step of the way & we highly recommend this branch without reservation.

Pearson Ferrier - Fabulous

Just sold a property with Iain at Pearson Ferrier and was impressed with the service provided. These were the second agents we had used, as we had no interest with the first ones. Iain sold the property within a couple of weeks, and was polite, professional and courteous throughout the whole process. We would recommend them highly for selling property.

Never trust an estate agent who wears …

Never trust an estate agent who wears polo necks in Summer and drives a Range Rover! Basically only interested if you are selling or buying an expensive property. We had to rent for a short while while we looked for a new home and we were spoken to so rudely. Once they realised we were potential home owners looking to buy it was a different attitude but still low on client service. For us a friendly and efficient service is really important. Wheale and Hitchen are far better at what they do and we bought our property via them in the end and the service was really good, friendly and helpful.

Not happy with this company at all!

Not happy with this company at all!! We applied for a rental property through them and granted my partner has previous adverse credit (which we informed them of prior to them processing the checks) however when they had completed their third party credit checks we were informed that my partner had failed the application because he still had several outstanding debts on his credit report. These have all be sorted, settled and confirmed by his Experian credit report. We were informed that if we could get the relevant details from the courts etc that this would help when going to the landlord. So my partner spent most of his day trying to gather the relevant information as we really wanted this house. We were then informed by Pearson Ferrier that the landlord had decided not to have tenants "in our situation"...... not only was this insulting and they should not have informed us of what the landlord had said (whether that was his opinion or not) but this was also based on incorrect information provided by their third party credit company. We were then told that we would not be able to get the full application fee which we paid and they would retain £75 of this because they paid for a third party credit check. Thankfully they only removed the property from the market for a couple of days otherwise we would have been charge the full £275. Well i do hope that no one else use this company as they will just rip you off. Requesting inaccurate credit reports and not refunding you the money paid for this as 'you agreed to a third party credit check'. Yes we did agree to a third party credit check but you would expect that they would get this report from a creditable credit company and not a company who clearly haven't updated their records and so provide false reports!!! Absolutely disgusted!!!

Poor service

Poor service, Poor third party ties with second rate out of date credit referencing agencies. Insulting and all round armatures is the best way to describe this company!!

This landlord is disgusting. Me and my partner asked to see a property on walker street because it was the only one that allowed pets. Not only were we asked why we wanted such a big property but we were dismissed based on age. My wife is 36 years old has worked in management roles all her life and I work 12hr shifts and I'm at university part time. Where we going to get the time to have so called house parties and go out getting pissed??? Anyway any form of discrimination is in breach of the discrimination act and is a criminal offence. We actually wanted the property mainly for the pets and me and wife want to start a family but anyway the letting agent then showed us properties that don't allow pets and booked us in for a viewing that doesn't take pets. Not only have they messed us about but they have been very Blaise about the situation not taking any accountability and if I don't get an adequate response justifying their reasoning behind the descision made against me and my wife I'll be taking the matter to their property ombudsman. Absolutely disgraceful conduct!

After trying unsuccessfully to sell my property with other local estate agents, I gave Pearson Ferrier a try. I am delighted to say that their sales team is second to none and they actively sought out buyers for my property. The team kept me updated throughout the whole process and I would not use any estate agent other than Pearson Ferrier again.

AVOID - RUDE - ARROGANT - ATTITUDE

**AVOID** Mathew, apparently Radcliffe office, showS up 35 min late, knocks on the door and tried to walk in without introducing himself nor waiting to be invited. I had another estate agent (a real gentlemen from Right Move, highly recommend them instead) so tried to explain i've someone else here. Mathew gave me a mouth full! Real attitude problem. [manners cost noting] Telling me I should answer my phone (I run 2 businesses and don't answer random numbers) - A REAL RUDE, ARROGANT, ENTITLED guy. You can tell he has zero interest in service, striving to ensure the customer gets the best, he's there for a quick buck. Let's say, the gentleman from Right Move who was in ear shot, was STUNNED! AVOID MATHER, Pearson Ferrier. Instead, speak to Right Move, and absolute pleasure.

I'd recommend people avoid renting from these guys. They only show signs of activity when they want money. Emails and phone enquiries are otherwise generally ignored, and getting your deposit back (even though they're not disputing anything) can take an age. I'm now two emails (one to the manager) and five calls to the office later and still waiting three months on. Each time i'm told it would be sorted but nothing.

I would firstly like to say a huge thank you to Pearson Ferrier for everything! We have rented a house from the Ramsbottom office, everybody we spoke to took the time to listen no matter how many questions we asked. They and gave us great advice with no pressure allowing us to make fully informed decisions. Staff were wonderful, genuinely concerned about finding the right property for the whole family and bent over backwards for us. We're now settling in nicely, all very happy in our new home.
