Upon entering Oulsnams' lettings branch, we were met with bewildering stares, as if our presence was an inconvenience. Their status as a large estate agent was apparent in the cold, impersonal service we received. We felt like a number, with zero consideration for our specific needs. Even when highlighting our interest in letting our property through them, there was a lack of interest. Thankfully, we found another estate agent that valued us. With our future property investment plans, we'll be sure to give Oulsnams a wide berth.

Absolutely appalling customer service. I phoned up on Monday to book a viewing on a rental property in Redditch, and was told I needed to fill in a form before I could book a viewing they took my email but never actually sent the form, I then found that the form existed on their website, but filling this form in was infuriating ALL fields were mandatory even those that shouldn’t have been “guarantor fields” I have since heard nothing in response and the house I am interested in letting has been on their site/Rightmove since June this year.Why couldn’t the individual (who might I add sounded like he had just woke up at 4:45 in the afternoon) simply take my details over the phone and arrange a viewing at the same time (like EVERY other letting agent)? Why is your process for booking viewings for letting so unnecessarily convoluted? If this is your house I feel sorry for you, this company are losing you tenants left right and centre.

Further to my review below, I have now had an offer accepted on a property marketed by another local agent. They do not seem to have experienced any of the problems Robert Oulsnam maintain they had in verifying my chain. Indeed, within a day of my offer being accepted, the property was listed as under offer and the conveyancing process was soon underway. Two very different experiences with local estate agents for me. I think the Droitwich branch perhaps need to review their processes ?

Our facts are factual as we note every conversation and have it recorded how many times we attempted to contact your agent and the amount of time wasted on hold, Purple Bricks wouldn't be able to provide you with that information as they are not a local professional agent like ourselves that have been in business for over 50 years where everything is logged and we work to achieve the best price and the best buyer for all of our clients. After thoroughly completing all of our due-diligence checks on the buyer the property will remain advertised on all portals clearly stated at SSTC and has been since the 28th July. We have replied direct to your email and requested you send us all the inaccuracies that you think there may be so we can answer them, so we can only assume that the ones you are mentioning here are those and therefore in response there are no inaccuracies on our part, you obviously have your thoughts and opinions which we fully respect and wish you all the best of luck for the future.

Tried to purchase a property through them. After offering the full asking price was told there was another equal offer, so asked to submit full and final offer. Did this and went above the asking price. Oulsnam came back and asked if we wanted to up our offer as the other party had offered well above us. We did not. Oulsnam tried to turn this into a bidding war. They have now changed the sales advert to offers over... but say the property is sold. Buyers beware.Further to your reply it is NOT that our offer wasn’t successful. It is how you managed the pricing on the property and also that you accused me of sour grapes when I called you to discuss this. We had made aware of our circumstances and we missed other opportunities whilst you led us a merry dance.

We are still experiencing receiving multiple offfers on some of our properties and unfortunately it is the vendor's decision if they want to take it to best and finals and in the end who they decide to sell their property to, so we are very sorry on this occasion your offer wasn't acceptable to them.
